I purchased a lithium battery from this company for my RV. The amount for the purchase was $639.00 which posted to my ********* account on Aug. 4, 2023. In Feb. 2024 the battery died and could no longer be used. On or about Feb. 28, 2024, I contacted Renogy technical support and started a case (*****************) with them. After a couple weeks of useless support they advised me to send the battery back to Renogy for problem diagnosis, at their expense. After they received the battery they determined that it was indeed defective. I told them I would like a refund to the credit card used to purchase the battery back in Aug. 2023. On Mar. 24, 2024, they sent me an email stating they were posting a $604.06 credit to my account and the credit card used to purchase the battery initially. After 10 BUSINESS days I still had not received a credit to my **** credit card. I contacted them again and told them I had not seen a refund. They again told me that a refund was posted to my account on Mar. 24 with a $604.06 refund. They further stated that if after 5-7 days I still haven't seen the refund, I need to contact my financial institution to resolve it. Now we're talking 15 BUSINESS days and no refund has been applied to my credit card. I contacted **** and they told me there is nothing they can do regarding the refund. It is up to the sending company to post a credit correctly and it is not up to the receiving institution to correct the issue. I also asked for the credit card number that they applied the credit to, and did not receive a response back. My feeling is that at this point this is a delay tactic which I saw in other complaints on the BBB site about this company. They have either not applied the refund to the correct account or, more likely, they have not issued a refund to my account.
