    I purchased a sofa and picked it up at the warehouse on or about 2/25/23. While at there, the e*ployees pulled a sofa and opened it up with a pocket knife. They handled the sofa without care and sliced open the packaging. Alar*ed, I asked the* to slow down and be careful. The sofa appeared da*aged in the back. One of the *ales then pulled another ite*, again *ishandling the sofa. The *ale using his pocket knife opened the packaging and this sofa was had a large black stain in the right botto*. Seeing this I declined the sofa. Another *ale began spraying the stain for which I explained to hi* not to do so as it co*pro*ises the integrity of the sofa and advised the* to use another nonche*ical solution. The 3rd sofa was pulled and the guys opened the packaging with a knife and I looked at the back and around the edges of the back. I signed and left. I dropped off the sofa on or about 2/25/23 in *y *other's new ho*e. On 3/4/23, I opened the package with scissors. Reason for waiting is that the ite* was dropped off to a newly built ho*e and nothing was being opened, I was si*ply furnishing the ho*e with furniture. On 3/4, after opening the packaging I noticed what appeared to be a black hair. As I neared the sofa within 7 inches, I realized what I saw was a fine 3 inch slice that likely occurred when the warehouse *ale sliced open the packaging with the pocket knife. I called **** at Lifestyle furniture who is the *anager I have worked with in the past. He referred *e ***** who told *e that she would call the *anufacture to report. I infor*ed her that the issue likely lies with the warehouse and she should check there first rather that report the *atter to a *anufacturer who likely has no clue that Lifestyle slices open packaging. She asked *e to send pics and infor*ed *e she would return *y call. I called ***** on 3/10 as she never returned *y initial call. ***** told *e that to return the ite* to the warehouse (45 *in. drive) for a 100 inch sofa, and they would "repair" the ite* by re*oving the attached cushion. I infor*ed her I was looking for a replace*ent rather than a repair and asked her to have the store pick up the ite*. She referred *e to the Finance *anager, who's na*e begins with a "*." * called *e on 3/11/23. Unbeknownst to *e, she had placed *e on speaker and was recording *e. Hearing ***** respond in the background to so*ething I said to *. * ad*itted she had *e on speaker and that she was recording *e. At which point, I explained to her that she never told *e I was being recorded which is not okay in California. * hung up on *e. I called ****, the store *anager on his cell phone. I explained the issue, to no avail. I asked **** to check the *atter as I a* certain that the guys at the warehouse likely inadvertently sliced the sofa while opening it. I would like either a replace*ent or rei*burse*ent with so*eone to pick up the ite* as opposed to requiring us to pay another $150 to rent a truck to pick up the ite* 45 *in away and drive another 45 *in. to the warehouse.

    I purchased a Wooden dining table from lifestyle furniture over a year ago. Within 5 months of own the table one of the sliding sides, where you insert a wing extension, got stuck and wouldn’t open anymore. I reached out to Lifestyle to have the issue resolved and I have received almost zero help from them! They made me send them tons of pictures and videos of the issue to prove it was broken. They keep telling me they will reach out to the manufacturer to find a solution but no solution. The only solution they ever offered was to make me bring the heavy wooden table back to their warehouse and someone would “look“ at it. I dont have any way to transport a heavy wooden 8 seating dining table. They do not stand by their products or their sales. Once they sell you something you are on your own. They do not honor warranty or try to help resolve issues.
