      My husband and I were interested in a used Lexus NX. The one we were interested in was way overpriced by $11K. We had cash to spend and I had my research—when we notes the body/paint damage—we were told to buy another car—I brought up TrueCar to show the exact same model with the same year/hybrid and their Sales Manager basically told us to go F ourselves that he can ask that because it’s a hybrid. Our offer was reasonable and still $5K higher than the price for the exact same car at another dealership. Shottenkirk will never have my business again. They have completely lost the plot and their arrogance is unbelievable.

      Buyers Beware, Staff at Shottenkirk Desert Lexus are unprofessional and rude! My husband and I went to trade in my car lease to purchase a new vehicle. On Saturday my husband and I stopped into the dealership and worked with Steven who showed us the car and allowed us to take it for a test drive. We then went back inside to discuss trade in value for lease and numbers to purchase new vehicle. The used car manager Kyle, came over and instead of seeing what could be done to close the deal, proceeded to be rude and insulting towards my husband and I. We were treated poorly by him. He was not helpful in selling us a vehicle. before we departed Lexus dealership, my husband asked Kyle for his business card. Kyle was sarcastic and told my husband he wouldn't give him a business card unless my husband provided him with his business card. My husband replied he did not have one and asked again for Kyles-sales managers card. Kyle responded to my husband " to go pound sand" and rudely told us to leave. This has to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life! Do not do business with Shottenkirk Desert Lexus dealership! Horrible customer service by far

      Customer argued and couldn't understand the numbers being presented to them. When we tried to slowly explain the figures the husband became belligerent and loud using profane language. We quietly tried to explain-we agreed to disagree.

      Buyers beware, This place selling practices is low level scummy. Tried many time to sell us on maintenance warranty and other craps. Won’t honor their own $500 voucher towards a purchase of their car. Refuse to explain why the deception. Their selling practices is really out of control here. If you meet the manager Kyle please understand he will get upset easily when you turn down their maintenance warranty and other add on charges and he will scream at you, yes that did happen to me. I can’t believe that this is even a Lexus dealership and can you imagine the employees that have to work deal with this guy running this place. What a joke.

      Buyer beware if you plan to purchase a vehicle from Shottenkirk Desert Lexus. We found a used car online and were very interested in purchasing it if it turned out as expected in person. On Sunday we stopped into the dealership and worked with Maggie who showed us the car and allowed us to take it for a test drive. We then went back inside and made an offer to purchase the car based on the Kelly Blue Book fair market value price. One of the managers, Sean, came over and began the negotiation process. When it looked like we weren’t going to be able to come to an agreement, the used car manager, Kyle, came over and instead of seeing what could be done to close the deal, proceeded to be rude and insulting. He was the definition of the sleazy used car salesman. We then left the dealership. The next morning I received a call from Maggie asking if we’d given any more thought to buying the car. We did like the car and said we would still be interested in the car for x amount of money. She said she would take the offer to the managers can call me back. Within a few minutes she called me back and said that “sounded fair”. I said great we’d be in this afternoon to sign the papers if the car would be ready. I also asked if I could put down a deposit to hold the car and was told “we don’t hold cars”. After another 45 minute drive to the dealership we met with Maggie. We saw the car detailed and were excited to sign the papers and drive it home. Instead, after about 30 minutes of filling out forms, Sean returned with a price that was more than what we presented the day before. I told him that we had an agreement based on our phone call and he replied he wouldn’t sell the car for that amount. I told him that was the amount we all agreed on over the phone and that was the whole reason we made the trip back. Realizing their deceptive business practices we stood up again prepared to leave.
