      I purchased a used vehicle from Ontario Hyundai in June of 2022. My vehicle kept burning oil extremely fast, I was constantly being told that my car, ** Jetta, normally ***** oil fast. They would not look at it and said that I purchased car as is, even though I purchased the extended warranty. I finally took my vehicle to another dealer in my home town, after several tests, which took about 3 months, the ** Dealership Repair Shop, ran a final test and found that there was metal shavings in the engine. Then in June of 2023, the final conclusion is that I needed a new engine. No help from Ontario Hyundai!!!When I purchased my vehicle, I was told that vehicle just got to their lot a couple of days ago. I was told that they did a thorough inspection of the vehicle before they sold it to me. NOT TRUE!!! If they did, they would have found that the car had a faulty engine.Stay away from Ontario Hyundai!!! Their vehicles are not inspected properly and now I have been without a car since June of 2023, barely a year after purchasing this car from there. It is now March of 2024. VERY UPSET!!!

      Beginning May 2021, I had a horrible experience with Hyundai at Ontario Motors. The process began with concerns of oil burning too fast therefore, a Oil Consumption test started. This process involved returning to the Hyundai at Ontario Motors every 1,000 miles three different occasions. By 08/11/2021, Hyundai at Ontario Motors reported "no issues" so no further actions were completed. On 09/10/2021, I visited a 3rd party auto service for routine oil change, in which "signs of internal engine damage. Vehicle arrived 3 quarts low on oil." I returned to Hyundai of Ontario Motors on 09/17/2021 to restart the second Oil Consumption test. By 12/30/2021, I was informed the "pistons were sealed." Issues continued and consistent communication to resolve the matter by email; no loaner or rental was offered. On 04/09/2022, an Engine Diagnostic worksheet was completed. The vehicle was left at the dealership for our days, no loaner or rental was provided. I had to continue to request updates and finally received my vehicle after I demanded on 04/12/2022. On 04/13/2022, Hyundai at Ontario Motors reported "no concerns." (I had to fill my vehicle with two purchased quarts of oil due to my vehicle stalling on the freeway, ZERO oil prior to filling up) Then 05/17/2022, I returned with the Class Action regarding Tucson Hyundais having engine problems, pictures of oil stick throughout the months, and case number for complaint with Hyundai Corporate. As of 05/17/2022, it was requested to re-do a third Oil Consumption test and the vehicle was test driven for 15 miles; results were "drivable as designed." I picked up my vehicle to drive away with it stalling and not accelerating therefore, I immediately returned to Hyundai at Ontario Motors when they diagnosed a bad "transmission." After an hour at the dealership, I was given a rental car and informed three days later that Hyundai will cover 90% of the cost. I was given the runaround and lack of trust.
