      Overall my experience with Lux windows has only led to stress and a damaged home. I was mistaken when I thought going with a big, “trusted” name would mean I would have less issues with the job. The product might be good but the installers make me regret going with Lux. Make sure you take pictures of your house and lay down cloth/tarp to project your house, or else you'll be in for another project or two. The workers clearly didn't care about my home when they did they job, wiping silicone and foam on my walls and appliances. Broken drywall - While doing the job the workers bumped into a wall causing a red mark on the wall and dented drywall. They also pulled out the drywall around the window causing a roughly two foot long crack in the drywall along a stem and paint along with two tears in the drywall elsewhere. Complete disregard for my home No drop cloths - Wearing shoes indoors and dragging garbage bins and other tools caused scratches in the floor Significant delays - Initial payment was May 9, 2024, job was complete July 25th 77 days later. I did ask for the job to be shifted a day later so between the payment and original scheduled date was 76 days. Sloppy work - The workers wiped their hands after handling spray foam and silicone on my appliances and painted walls meaning this has to be scrapped off. They tore off the silicone around the junction box for my internet and tv cables while moving a water barrel for the job. Finally, while the door handles are the original from the previous door, the door handles are difficult enough to open that my mom, a senior, thought they were locked when she came to visit. I’ve been told that I can break off a security tab to fix this but it seems like a pretty lousy fix after spending thousands of dollars on a door. The locks are ****** brand locks.

      Got our windows replaced in Feb by ***. The whole process has been very stressful and not worth the money. The installation crew left debris all over the yard and scratches in our floor. Dent's in our siding and holes all over our deck from their roofing shoes. We got charged for scaffolding and they never used it. They offered a credit towards the damages and the scaffolding but have been chasing them around for months trying to get some of our money back. I do not recommend lux windows and wish I never used them. They do not care about their customers!

      All, Be Very concerned of both J&G Glass and Lux Windows & Glass LTD Read before you spend!Our custom dream home in ****** planned move-in Date 1/1/2022 Order placed and wired 50% (*********) to J&G Glass listed dealer on Luxs website 7/6/2021 with order pick-up date 9/29/2021 Request pick-up date with weights and dims from J&G 8/15/21 received weights but No dimensions and was notified there would be a crating free on-top my $53,387.00 order, I requested additional cost for crating.Receive 8/27/21 additional cost for crating from J&G Glass of $5,775.00 Wow but was stuck as they had my deposit of $26,694.00 Requested 8/28/21 update on order completion and dimensions for scheduling transportation again on 8/30/21 and again twice on 9/1/21 Received 9/2/21 a concerning email that the order pushed over a month to 11/2/2021 give or take a few days This is when I knew we were in trouble we are now forced into winter construction in ******. Windows stop All progress of siding, trimming, sheet rock, flooring, cabinetry appliances ECTRA 10/13/21 Wired $5,775.0 for crating with pressure from J&G before we could get update on the new order completion date of 11/2/2021 10/16/21, 10/19/21 requested conformation of 11/2/2021 shipping.. finally updated 10/19/2021 with more damaging new that are new order completion date is in January 2022. Is after our move in date! Winter construction will cost thousands of dollars to our building budget!Wrote a complete to Lux on there website 10/19/2021 of the situation received a follow up call from Sales Manager ***** the next day he was nice with no solutions as he just learned of this situation and said orders are normally always process in 4 to 8 weeks. ***** said he would follow up with me the following week. As expected, Chriss follow up call never came! Alls I can do is hold my breath and pray that they can keep their last 1/5/2022 delivery date These are terrible people and companies my wife cries often knowing that we are Mid-spring at best to move in, mindful over one (if they hold to the latest delivery date of 1/5/2022 half of a year after taking my $26,694.00 deposit) further our custom home builder has adjusted his schedules around us and sadly starts a new project 2/2/2022 that will put us second priority. Beware working with companies like these they certainly have caused us much unnecessary hardship and dollars! We truly are good people and dont deserve this Same to these companies!!

      Thank you for your feedback. I would like to respond to three items individually and would like to start with the crating charge. As you had mentioned, it was you who had requested to have the items crated and offered to pay for the crating. The amount of the crating fee seems to be where you object. I assure you the amount of labour and cost of ****************** to crate your order is in proportion to the amount charged. You have paid the crating charge and your order will go out crated as agreed to. Secondly, I would like to clarify that Lux Windows has not received a deposit from you as your order is with ***** Glass whom is actually our customer for this order.With respect to the timeline for your order, Lux Windows, like all companies in our industry and the construction industry globally as a whole, have had a challenging year experiencing numerous external variables in the supply chain which necessitated a process of re-calculating estimated completion dates for every order in our system which includes Home Builders, Contractors and Homeowners. Estimated dates provided to our customers are dates based upon current production/supplier conditions that are subject to change due to pressures on our suppliers resulting from Covid-19, transportation and labour & material shortages. Regardless, Lux's commitment to meet estimated dates has remained unwavering throughout 2021. In closing, Lux would like to thank you for your patience and understanding up to this point. Please be assured your order through J&G Glass is in queue and will be produced at the earliest possible date.Thank you.
