    Ya.so dont stay at the Ramada Wyndham in NW Calgary ever..***** ** **** *******. Say they cant refund my money for the room I left for the whole stay they charged me for because I paid with debit and not credit card..the room was upgraded without my knowledge when I checked in, there was mildew on the roof above one bed that clearly has a leak, there was Kleenex somehow fastened to the popcorn ceiling above the other bed beside a huge patch job.stains on the walls that had run down the walls at some point, I wouldnt allow M to go in the bathtub.and the pool was chipped on the bottom and in bad shapethe hot tub was closed until further notice but still running, and when I popped my head in it had a funky mold/mildew smell to it. Charged me an outrageous amount of money and now is basically holding it all hostage because he made me pay everything up front PLUS a room deposit. Then before he checked me out told me he had to check the room. I feel stupid for not taking pictures but I was so upsetthank goodness for family nearby who offered a room. I was just going to get another hotel room elsewhere but again.theyre holding my money hostage because I used debit for our three-night stay. So I have to go back tomorrow and talk to the manager and see if the owners are going to give me my refund. Dont think Ill ever stay at another Ramada ever ever again. Oh. And if you book online and you have one cancellation policy, it doesnt matter because the hotel can have its own policy apparently even though the guy I asked at the hotel looked at my BOOKING CONFIRMATION that I had on my phone for the cancellation policy and didnt tell me about theirs before I cancelled! AND I had to demand he call a manager so I could talk to them and he was just as much of an assand the 800 number basically said nothing they could do be abuse theyre privately owned hotels. Next morning after yelling at numerous people I got all my money minus one night stay back.

    Edit: I was Upgraded to one of their better rooms. I have filed a complaint with AHS as well as Ramada headquarters. I also told the manager when I went back that they need to educate their staff on their policy because when I asked what their cancellation policy was, he said I needed to look at my online confirmation because I booked online. Then when I demanded he call his manager, the manager said they have a 24-hour cancellation policy. I had to give a $250 room deposit where I had to go over to the other hotel to use their ATM machine to get the cash.
