    I booked a trip with Wingbuddy to travel to Israel on October 7, 2023-Four days before departure the war broke out and our trip was cancelled. We were told we had to file a claim with the Office of Protection in Quebec. That agency is also the problem. I sent all the appropriate documents to them in October and still have not received my reimbursement. I have sent a number of emails to both Wingbuddy and Office of Protection with no resolution. Could your office look into this. I paid for this trip in good faith and due to no fault of ours the trip was cancelled. I would like someone to figure this out and get our money back. This is totally unacceptable. Because of the situation this claim should have priority. *** *********** ****** ** *******

    We booked a trip with Wingbuddy (WB) and the final itinerary allowed 65 min to make an international flight connection. During check in at the airport for the first flight, the supervising ticketing agent indicated that we likely did not have enough time to make our connection. Flights were on schedule, but the time allowed was clearly insufficient as we did indeed miss that connecting flight. We could not rebook an alternate flight with the same carrier as they offered one daily flight to our destination plus there was no representative at their kiosk.We then tried to reach the emergency contact at destination using the WhatsApp phone number provided with our travel voucher, but those phone calls were unanswered. Next, we emailed the WB Emergency Contact for assistance. While we waited for a response from WB, we decided to book our own flight to maintain the itinerary as best as possible. We needed to get to that next city to make further connections early the following morning, so we could not wait for WBs response.In early November, we submitted our reimbursement request to ** for our additional costs. It took several months, but they finally came back with an airline refund for the missed flight portion. That only represented approx. 40% of our additional costs. Frankly, I found their final communication rather dismissivebasically stating this is all we can do for you, now go away. Our business is clearly unimportant, and they did not deliver an ****************** ExperienceHassle-Free! for us. Presumably, the staff are experienced travel agents who know how much time to allow for flight connections. I noticed another customer in this review section with the exact same issue, so this is obviously not an isolated incident. As a travel agency, ** should have expertise in minimum airport connection times and book accordingly. They assumed zero responsibility for any of the other costs in our case, which is very disappointing.

    While we can understand your frustration, if the connection is not legal by the airline, the flight cannot be booked. We worked to help resolve this matter directly with the airline on your behalf. Wingbuddy exceptionally got involved to help support your claim and ultimately expedite the refund, despite that this situation is out of our control. Despite this, we hope you keep good memories of your journey.
