I went on different websites looking for good prices on palladium. My name is **** ***********************. I had never done any buisness with Kitco before. I found on there web site a palladium 1 OZ bar that was a good price so I ordered it. I made a buisness check out, as I have for Money Metals, and APMEX in the past with zero problems. I sent the check ot priority mail the same day as the order. They received the check, and told me that they would not cash it because it was a buisness check. They told me that they would find a solution in a few days, and let me know what I needed to do to get the order. The next day I checked my email, and it said " per customer request your order has been canceled." "We are charging you $96.00 for our restocking and metal price different. I immediately called them and told them what was told to me the day before. I even said I would send a personal check that day, if that worked for them. They said they would call me the next day which is today. They called and said my account was closed, and that the could not tell me why. I still want my metal at the price agreed. I plan to *** in small claims for the current value at the time I receive it, or the palladium. Worst experience dealing with a metal dealer. I recommend going anywhere else for your metal needs.Kitco Metals Inc. Response

I bought 2 one ounce coins for a Christmas gift, 1 ounce gold and one silver of the American buffalo. Kitco has kept their promises made on the internet. I wanted to place a smaller first time order but the minimum purchase was $2,000. So I splurged, read all the purchase requirements and sent them my check. As stated, long times were given for check clearance and shipping. I placed my order October 31, 2023 and today, November 15, 2023 received from *** with signature required. I have not found any prior complaints stating the gold and silver quantities were not ******% as advertised. I find that most of the reviews are only due to misunderstandings of the buyer and not Kitco. I will order all of my gold and silver purchases from Kitco in the future.Kitco Metals Inc. Response

I had a account with this company I did not proceed with my order for a coin. They waited to cancel my order. I recieved a e mail from this company stating their cancelation policy. My account showed a debit of *****. They stated I owed ***** in losses and I owed them *****. Scam Scam I canceled my **** card at once with my bank. *************************Kitco Metals Inc. Thank you for writing in with your review, ****. As per Kitco's Terms and Conditions, a price is confirmed at the time a purchase transaction is submitted. Should a customer cancel the transaction after it has been submitted, or choose not to pay, the customer is liable for market loss repayments and administrative fees.As a customer satisfaction gesture, ******************** waived the administrative fee. I had monies invested in metals w/ Kitco for almost exactly a decade. After making my initial purchases I left them on the Kitco site & had almost nothing to do w/ Kitco for the next 10 years. When I converted the metals back into currency & had the resultant check sent to me, KItco showed its true colors - e.g. the Customer Service Rep (CSR) I spoke w/ became noticeably unhappy re: me closing my acct. He also steered me towards receiving my check via regular mail, which I agreed to but he never mentioned that it would take almost a MONTH to receive my check. I kept looking for my check, & it didn't show up for 3 weeks & a day!! After 2 weeks of waiting, I called Kitco & asked about my check? I was told their "policy" is they have 21 business days to get U UR check. I told them about my recent order for vitamins from N. Dakota which I received (via ****) w/in 4 days. So I KNEW that **** wasn't the reason for the delay in getting my Kitco check, & made it clear to that CSR that they didn't have any right to simply hold onto MY money for weeks on end. THIS CSR was unhappy to hear THAT piece of info. These KItco CSRs are completely out to lunch if 1st, they don't expect anyone to ever close an acct with Kitco (& get noticeably bent out of shape if someone does so) & 2nd, also think that it should be A-OK with Kitco's cusotmers for Kitco to hold onto their customers money for weeks at a time. Unbelievable. Upon (finally) receiving the check I looked on the envelop to see how long Kitco waited before mailing my check. Well, Kitco - a co. I had trusted so much - has figured out a way to mail UR check WITH NO DATE OF MAILING ON THE ENVELOP. How much time did someone at KItco spend on this sleight of hand, circumventing the universal mailing procedure of dating an envelop with its mailng date? Way to go Kitco!! Where do U think business practices like this are going to get U? U have certainly lost my business forever.Review from Christopher T

AFTER.. all of the costs and ************ plus other ******** Government fees just added to my bank account that I didn't expect. I ended up paying 30 dollars an ounce for silver.. on a metal that is currently valued at 20$ . LAST time silver was at a price I could break even at was 1980...Scam websiteReview from Janice F

I need to find another business! My first order sat in my mailbox and was suppose to be delivered to the door. My mailbox is a rural mailbox that anyone can access. I was told this would never happen again. It did happen again! I phoned a voiced a complaint and it was to be reviewed and they were to get back to me. I then sent a email. All my phone conversations have been with excellent, highly educated representatives who immediately give everyone calm confidence that all needs will be quickly satisfied. The worst investment company I have ever done business with. They are disorganized, they will close your account for no real reason and then keep your money for three to four weeks prior to refunding it.There are other reputable companies that buy ans sale ************** Stay away for Kitco.Kitco Metals Inc. I placed an order for 3 coins. Two of them came in one package as scheduled. The other one got lost by **** After more than one and a half months "investigation", I received a call from Kitco that the insurance will cover the loss. I was actually happy to hear that until I was told that they could not replace the coin because it was not in stock and I had to wait indefinitely till somebody sells the same type of coin to them. This kind of things are uncommon but happen and I understand. However, because I have a better use for my money than letting Kitco have them interest free for indefinite period, I requested a refund. Here comes the funny part:I was offered two options. The first one to send me a refund check via certified ***** package for $30 fee or a regular mail free of charge. I initially chose regular mail, when the lady on the phone started telling me that it was a bad idea because regular mail could not be tracked and if the check is lost, they won't be able to do anything about it. We do sincerely appreciate your understanding in terms of the insurance investigation process and inventory concern. This was not a good showing on our part and anything that disrupts a customer receiving their order is a tarnish of our reputation. I will also personally apologize for the information presented to you by our representative for it was incorrect; we can replace a check lost in the mail after a short waiting period. We will take this opportunity to put our representative on the correct path. This was an unfortunate situation made worse by our lack of professionalism. Terrible , i ordered something waited a month and finally received something completely different that i have no use for, then they claim it is what i ordered, It is not. From looking into our system, the order you placed on May 24th was delivered to you just as you requested with the items you specifically picked from our online store. With 1-kilogram silver units, Kitco does not guarantee specific branding other than “from the Good Delivery List” typically from any recognized refiner. While it is theoretically possible you could receive a PAMP Suisse bar in this fashion, it could also be Engelhard, Johnson Matthey, Heraeus, etc...and we are very clear about this. Kitco, at the time of your order, was advertising guaranteed PAMP Suisse bars in 100 troy oz variety, not in the kilogram unit size, and we hope this is not the root of the confusion. We can fully guarantee there is no mechanism in the system for you to have been able to specifically request PAMP Suisse bars of this size. As a courtesy, one of our supervisors recently reached out to you with an invitation to call in to discuss an exchange option. Should you wish to proceed, please note some fees might be applicable.
