  We had this company in to provide insulation at our house last winter. We thought they did a decent job and paid them in full. When this winter came around it was clear that they missed some spots because the kitchen piping froze and we did not have water there. We had to wait until the pipes thawed and we had to use the heater to warm them up. Called, emailed and asked him many times to come back and complete the job properly. I even spoke to him on the phone and he promised to come by within two days and did not. I called him back to check if he is still coming and he did not answer. In the end we had to call another place and hire another group to finish the job properly because the kitchen pipes kept freezing. Infrared reports also showed that the area was in sufficiently insulated. Paid the company $5626. Would like to see a portion of this money returned because of an inadequate job

  First thing is that it’s ******** *** that did the work for *****, not J Chugg Construction. Secondly, he was to contact you on June 1^st to reverse this complaint as it has been resolved as follows;
  ******** returned to *** ********** where we found that around the electrical panel wall, there were wires in the wall which interfered with filling the cavity. We pumped it again to solve the problem. As for the wall where the pipes froze, the pipes are inside the wall which would make them freeze 100%. We did not see or know that the pipes were in that wall. This is no fault of ********. We also pumped that wall when we returned to resolve this situation. I recommended to ***** that he spray foam his crawl space and he said that he would wait until the following year as his budget would not allow it at that time. They had another company spray foam the crawl space to prevent the pipes from freezing. We did not do any spray foam as it clearly indicates in the copy of the contract I have attached. They claim to have hired another company to finish the job properly, this is false. Someone is being careless with the truth. Our job was completed as stated in the contract with the exception of the wall with wires, which don’t freeze! We did return and address this small issue and all was to *****’s satisfaction.

  I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to ********* ** ********, and although I might argue the wording, I find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I'm happy that they came back to make it right
