I had two loans with Financeit *** *** **** *** ****** ******** **** * **** ***** - the bi-weekly interest was structured to be five times the principal. I kept on asking questions why and got no concrete answers at the start of the loan. Finally, I paid out both loans and Financeit keeps deducting payments from my bank account and my account still shows balances owing even after several calls to them. * **** ** ********* **** ** *** ******** ********** ****** ** **** ***** ** I am concerned they won't stop the deductions. I was also amazed one of the agents I spoke with suggested I kept calling them - really? I already did all the right things, how do you expect me to make out time to also ensure you do your part?? I will never be borrowing from them any more.Financeit Response

Financeit charges very normal interest rates that are disclosed on all documentation and loan agreements customers are required to sign. The monthly principal and interest calculations are based on the loan term and amortization. The longer the amortization the more interest one will pay and early payments would have a higher amount of interest vs principal.
When borrowers make payments though banking institutions we have no indication when the payments will be received, it can take up to 3 business days depending on banking hours and holidays.
Financeit did not attempted to take payments after the payout was received.

Can you confirm when you received my last payment and when Financeit took the last payment from my account? I ask because I believe payments were taken after that, and would like to give you the opportunity to prove otherwise and pursue this to a logical conclusion.Review from David M

I decided to purchase a Water System through them and then i decided to Cancel due to financial issues. They managed to take the first payment out of my Bank Account. After Cancelling I requested a refund as I returned the Equipment unused, still in packages. used this company for financing on new windows from ******** ******* *** ***** in dartmouth ns. The window company wasted about 8 months of my time and still never managed to get even an appraisal out and then canceled the apprasail at the last minute for some crazy reason. Are these 2 things related? I guess ill start all over again in my quest for new windows.Financeit Response

No sure how we got into this problem with this company, as we started out with Chicc for a air conditioner that was dropped off at the side of my house, never installed! To this day the air conditioner is still not connected. We had contacted Chicc many times requesting completions of install or removal however they didn’t do either they gave the bill to Financeitt which now has a lean on my house for 40 thousand dollars for a air conditioner that has never been connected. I have had many conversations with these companies with no accountability! Someone please Help!Review from Kaitlin F

Absolutely terrible. I was approved for the cost of an ac unit. Submitted all of the documentation, verification and completed the checklist. I signed the loan agreement as well. After everything was set up and the work was completed, they decided to change the terms on me and requested a co borrower! The customer service rep I was emailing with just kept repeating the same thing over and over again with zero help. So we decided to pay by other means. Definitely will NOT be dealing with financiet ever again. A loan agreement should be legally binding, but apparently they think they can change terms whenever they want. Purchased a hot tub for to be installed at my mother's residence in Sydney NS. I was moving out of country to Panama. My mother has gotten sick and I have since returned to Canada. The hot tub was financed throug finaneit. I have called and email financeit and explained that I have not received the goods and service I paid for. It has been over 3 years. I have never missed a payment and have asked financeit to stop taking funds out of my account and please return the over 3 years of payments I have made but have never received the service or good. They have informed me that they will not return the money I have given them as it has been 3 years. ************************** I have never received any goods.Review from Calvin B

I was assisted by Devon, of *************. in applying for a loan through Financeit. The loan application and communication has been very positive in my circumstance. I would recommend doing businees with Financeit. My deferral for payment starts next Jan. and I am optimistic that going forward I will enjoy the same courteous service that I have experienced thus far. *******, Calgary AB.
