  ******** ****. I invested a significant amount of cash to take advantage of their promises of “an executive matchmaking service” that takes all the time, worry and hassle of dating. The pitch is that as you go on dates and give feedback they continue to hone in on your type and dates get better and more compatible over time. For this reason they told me it was only possible to have a 24 date package which I now understand was a lie by the salesperson on the call as many other reviewers have been scammed for less. Since signing up I’ve been matched with several people, all based on the most difficult to quantify criteria like “kind” or “compassionate” vs any kind of actual compatibility. They do this to be able to argue that they’re fulfilling their contractual obligations. The problem is that they completely *** about their involvement in the pre selection, if I went on completely random dates from hinge I’d have a better shot at having a true match as hinges algorithms define compatibility better than these people who claim to do professional matchmaking for 20 years. In reality, they do nothing but send you on dates with any complete stranger that’s dumb enough to pay for this service and all of the risk that entails. I tried reaching a middle ground with them and begging for a refund for the outstanding dates they haven’t produced yet so we can all walk away amicably. I’m told that since they still feel able to service me that I’m hostage to their service and they hope to keep putting me out there on dates with completely unvetted strangers again soon. As a woman, I absolutely will not be trusting my time or personal safety to this company that refuses to stand by the quality of the service they profess to offer. That’s a HARD PASS.

  IJL regrets to learn the consumer is not enjoying her experience, and disagree with her statements. She knows we are not * **** as she has a friend that also dates with us in another city and was referred to IJL by her. Her statements on our process are false and without merit, simply her opinion. She has had 6 dates, 4 she has said yes to, and 2 she has said no to. She exchanged numbers with her 1st and 3rd dates and provided overall positive feedback. She is not eligible for a refund because she doesn’t like it. Her membership has been serviced in accord with the membership agreement she reviewed, executed and agreed to upon being offered membership. The consumer can continue dating or maintain her membership on hold. Thank you.
