These movers arrived at a back lane a while back to move my neighbors. Some seemingly random woman approached one of the movers just after they had parked the truck. After a brief discussion, the mover repositioned their huge 5-ton truck a few feet from where it was originally. I speculate this was done to appease this woman's concerns that there may not be enough room for emergency vehicles to get through the alley if there happened to be an emergency (which there wasn't; enough room or an emergency). However, after having moved over a few feet, the front passenger side tire ended up landing on a plant in the foliage alongside the alley. As a result, that same woman became hysterical. I saw and heard this woman verbally and physically abuse and assault the mover while he was carrying my neighbors belongings in and out of the house causing quite a scene drawing attention from other neighbors in the area. Not wanting to escalate the situation, the movers attempted to laugh it off and ignore the ranting and raving woman yet she relentlessly persisted to get right up in their way. She even followed them inside my neighbor's home but was quickly escorted back outside by my neighbor. Just wanting to end the situation, the movers tried their best to empty the unit and vacate that location quickly, which they did. Not long after the movers left, the police arrived. I thought they would arrest the woman for trespassing and assault or at the very least get her to the hospital for a psychological evaluation but apparently she had called them..to report the damaged plant. Tragically, it looked as though the plant had succumbed to it's injuries and might have to be replaced. The police appeared to be unsympathetic to the women's loss and departed the scene to question the movers about 200 meters away where they had a very brief exchange. Hats off to those extremely patient, polite and well-intentioned gentlemen for handling the situation in such a professional manner.
