    We have been clients of Harding Heating and Air Conditioning for a few years. Are on a monthly maintenance plan for both our Air Conditioning and a furnace. In October 2021 our furnace stopped working properly. It would intermittently shutdown and would not reach the set temp. I place a called with Harding and someone came. They said it was working fine once they came home and took off after 5 minute. The issue persisted, I called back in November after having no heat for several days and a house that would go down to 19/18 overnight. The same technician came over and investigated more after I reminded them they came a few weeks before. A trainee was also with them. Turns out one of the limit blower switches was not working properly and needed to be changed. The tech did not have one in their truck so he put the defect switch back into the furnace and told me it would be fine for now because they removed some « dust ». They would check with their office if they could order a new one. The technician even said that worst case, they would take one from a new furnace they have in inventory and come back in a few days to replace it. The furnace worked for a few hours and stopped. The next few days we literally froze in the house. I had the gas fireplace on all day long which would help for the main floor but I could not leave it on at night. Each morning the temp was at 18/17 C. Not hearing anything, I called back to complain. A new tech came over and did something over the course of 45 minutes. But they said it is a temp fix. The furnace is working but I am always worried it will stop.. it’s winter! I have called Harding at least 15 times since and emailed four times. They only said they ordered the part via email but that is it. They never answer or return my calls or emails. I am completely in the dark. How is this good customer service especially for monthly paying customers. I don’t know what to do anymore. ****** *****

    We moved into our newly constructed home in September 2017. Harding Mechanical's Certification sticker on the Furnace indicated our ventilation ducts were thoroughly cleaned September, 2017, prior to our move in. This definitely wasn’t the case. We had no reason to doubt Harding’s quality of work, however, due to on-going dust build-up in the house & allergy issues, we decided to have the air ducts cleaned by a different company, in May of 2021. To our shock & dismay, we were told that ducts were never cleaned properly, as certified by Harding. There was lot of original construction debris in the Mainline and this was quite evident from the before/after pictures taken on May 8th, 2021. Furthermore, Mainline access cutouts to insert the dust/debris suction pipe were never made. As result, only a small section of roughly 30% was cleaned. I sent an email to Harding Mechanical on May 15th, 2021 & received a phone call from Linda M*******. We discussed the issue & I requested as to why the sticker on furnace indicated ducts were cleaned, when in essence, the work was not thoroughly done? Linda mentioned would look into the issue & get back. I offered to send her the before/after pictures of the Mainline & I did on May 19th. Not hearing back, I sent a follow-up email on June 8th & again no response. On June 24th, I sent another email requesting an update & advising that I would be initiating a complaint process. Linda did reply & indicated “she would talk to her manager & get back with a solution.” As of today, February 1st, 2022, there has been no response or follow-up & no resolution. After repetitive attempts to resolve the matter, it is quite evident that Harding Heating does not believe in providing reasonable customer service. Furthermore, I am quite shocked that a local business that prides itself as a “family-owned” would perform below par service & then ignore/treat a customer in this manner. I most definitely would not do any type of business with this company.
