I applied for a loan from this company, in the application i uploaded the banking documents requested and the government ID they requested. 3 days later I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from my banking institution fraud department about "suspicious charges" supposedly made that day from both my credit card and my chequing account. This person kept asking me "security questions" relating to bank balances on all my accounts. In very little time i was able to discern that something was wrong as they did not seem to have access to my accounts (which the bank fraud department would have had). He person told me I would be sent an email with a "dispute form" to start the "fraud" proceeding on my accounts and told me that my accounts were now frozen for 24 hrs. I told this person that since my branch was still open I would just go directly to the bank and have them do this with me. That's when the person got quite agressive and insistant that I work with him and the forms he was sending my or else I would not be compensated for any frauds on my accounts and I would also be responsible for additional charges. He kept giving my the address in Ont. for my banking institution as "proof" he was legit. Instead I kept saying I was leaving immediately and physically going to my bank. Mysteriously the call was "dropped". Fortunately there were no transactions made from either my credit card nor my chequing account. For safety the bank cancelled both cards and issued me new cards. So now I get home and I have an email from loanaway stating "congratulations your loan has been approved" and that they just needed some documents from me. The documents they were requesting were the exact same documents that had already be included in the loan application. I did not, nor will I, resend those documents. Note: the call from the "fraud department" was not an 800#. After initial loan appl I received 3 texts asking to click a link to "check" my credit score. I didn't do this.

The above description of this individual's experience is clearly indicating a ********** attempt made by ********** claiming to be from Loan Away Inc. We DO NOT conduct our business in the manner described by her. Loan Away Inc. only has ONE contact number which is ###-###-####. She mentions that the call she received was not from a 800# and this further points to a ********** attempt. These ********** are in no way connected to Loan Away Inc.

They ******* ** out of 600 dollars with the promise that if I paid a large fee bi weekly I would eventually get a 2-5000 dollar loan, couldn't contact them through phone or email, the emails that were sent were to me were completely made up names, negatively affected my credit score, and to top it off I was in school and in a vulnerable state looking for a loan to pay my tuition. **** ***** ** * ******** ****** *** *** **** ********** *********** ********* *** * *****

We DO NOT conduct our business in the manner described by him. He also mentions that he was unable to make contact these ********** via our phone number (###-###-####) and e-mail (*******@********.com)and this further points to a ********** attempt. These ********** are in no way connected to Loan Away Inc.

Bad communication. Phone number to contact says network busy. I paid my loan in full and they are asking for more. Please help. I have screenshots of my payments and emails from the collector all saved.*****************

Due to a miscommunication, the client incurred a NSF fee which we have already waived and communicated to the client. The account has been closed.
