Dear Whom it may concern, I am writing this letter in regards to an account I have reflecting on my credit bureau, Loan Away, Account number ******. I am looking to dispute the following and to report the following 1) Violation of rights of contacting my workplace multiple times to notify ** ******* of my account. *********** ******* ** ********* ********* ** ** ********* ** ******* ** **** ** ******** ** *** ** ****. Contacting my employer and my co-workers regarding this was unlawful and was a breach of my privacy. 2) Inaccurate missed payments on file, reflects as first missed payment was October 2022. ******** **** ********* ** ****. I would like for this to be corrected on my credit bureau. Thank you, ***** ****Business response

1) At the point of application the customer had provided us with numbers for references and her workplace. She was aware that they will be contacted in the event she is unreachable, and our Team members only asked them to pass a message asking the customer to contact us. At no point was any detail disclosed with regards to her business with Loan Away. Asking someone to pass a message to call back does not amount to breach of privacy. Our Team members only contacted the numbers the customer provided after numerous efforts to contact via phone and e-mails were futile.
2) All reporting to ******* is done as per their reporting SOP requirements.
The status of the debtor's loan on *******, missed/late or on-time, is determined by the status of the loan, not the payment for that month.
Her missed payment was September 16th 2022.
When we reported the status of her loan at the end of September (Sept 30 2022) her account was less than 30 days in arrears and so was reported as current, even though the payment had not been made.
When we reported in October 2022 (10/31/2022) her account was more than 30 days in arrears (even though she made the October payment) as she had not yet made up the missed payment from September.
Reporting continued to show the account in arrears until the arrears were corrected (August 31st 2023).With these responses, we consider the complaint satisfactorily addressed.
