I don't normally write a bad review but this one is something I had to, do to warn others. I conducted a RT-LAMP test over video conferencing. The nurse (her name is Moneth) was pleasant enough. She emphasized how important it is for me to upload the result within 30 minutes. I asked what if it takes longer and she responded it is not possible as this kit normally takes 15 minutes. I waited by the device with a flashing light. In 15 minutes, I get a reminder that I must upload a photo. I wait and wait. 30 minutes is up and it's still flashing. I concluded the device is malfunctioning so I upload it with the flashing light. In about 5 minutes (so a total 35 min), the result comes back negative. I called their customer line to swap the photo out. He said this is not allowed but will find out if it can be done. I was put on hold for almost 1 hour. Finally he came back and said there is nothing they can do and plus they can't guarantee a refund. This is appalling. How is this my fault when I followed the instruction of the nurse who was adamant about the time? There is absolutely no accountability and they obviously don't care about any basic customer service. ************ Ordered 3 PCR test kits totalling $500.64 for travel to the US based on the fact that they are a partner with ******** so there was an element of trust there. On the same day and within 9 hours, I emailed to ask for a refund as I no longer required the tests and never heard from them yet I received the kits within 3 days (on a Sunday actually). I then called them and had no luck with my request for a refund or even an exchange as they were sticking to their policy regardless of the fact I made the initial request within 24 hours. I emailed them yet again, and after a week with no answer, I called again. I was on the phone for 48 minutes, mostly on hold while the agent spoke to his superiors. While they were able to confirm the tests had not been used, their answer was still no, even though I asked to have the order cancelled or refunded within 24 hours of purchase because "I have the tests in my possession". What an absolutely ridiculous explanation. During this time, the Government of Canada changed restrictions and only required a Rapid Antigen test, which had a significantly lower price tag. Still the answer was no. I now have 3 PCR test kits still in the ********* box, unopened and unused and virtually useless going forward. How a company can get away with this is beyond my comprehension coming from a customer service background myself. I had tried to reach out to ********, however have been unsuccessful in communication with them. I feel the frustration of the other customers providing their reviews and I know there are many more feeling the same way.Review from Lynda H

We spent money on kits and spent 4 hours trying to connect and then could not understand the health professional on other end. Only to be dumped back in line for another 4 hours. We were then forced to book in person tests at airport with Switch health and pay for those tests as well contact with company only netted $80 refund. On $500 in testing. Just awful service. Their QR codes dissolve like 20 year old decals, not their problem as manufacturing issue. Had to use 2 kitsc for 1 result. Asked for a replacement 1/2. After 5 emails and 3 phone calls not a chance. All scripted excuses and endless deflection....I could go on but they wore me out. Move on, and do not deal with this outfit.Review from David S

I bought 2 COVID-19 RT-LAMP PCR test kits distributed by Switch Health in late-January 2022 before our trip to Hawaii. A relative vacationing in Hawaii warned us that there were significant testing delays getting COVID-19 tests completed for their return trip to Canada so I thought - let's be prepared.
What a joke. We tested ourselves with at-home BD Antigen tests an hour before the telemedicine RT LAMP PCR Travel Tests manufactured by ******. My test went fine after a total of 2.5 hours of waiting. My wife's not so after a 4.0 hours of waiting for the 10 minute telemedicine interview. The exact same protocols were followed for the 2 tests. My wife is a retired medical professional. Her test was an "Invalid Result" of flashing lights! No one answers the telephone number that is listed to call for an invalid test. No chat line support. No technical support.
We are now hightailing it to a clinic in Kona for a Travel Antigen test that was recently OKed for returning to Canada.

Just spent 500 dollars on Lamp test kits for our trip to the US and now the federal government has suspended the need for such tests as of the end of Feb. I called the company with the understanding there were no returns but at the time of purchase the requirements were still in place. Very sad this company is going to take 10's of thousands of dollars from Canadians by not allowing people to return unopened useless kits. Very sad way to run a business.Review from Joe S

for the people not having a smartphone and knowing how to use some of the features or for someone who is not comfortable using computer the registration site is not user friendly. putting in the phone number was not easy since there are boxes which are not seen if you are at the computer but only a few feet away and at an angle to the monitor. password was input and then several screens later asked for again. in the last screen asking the password has to be according to their protocol. turns out the password i used did not meet the protocol but it still took. then i get a message on the screen telling me to enable my microphone. done. then the site asks me for my camera to be turned on. i do not have a camera. looking at the waiting list i am well over a hundred away from being answered. i ask the bot and after writing and getting no satisfaction i ask the bot for a person. i check for where i am in line and then go searching the site. a few pages later i see that i have to have a camera to take the test. further on is a phone to call. i call. the gentleman at the other end puts me on hold while he arranges for forms. all is done some time later and then i get to see a person saying "hello". i can hear and see and say hello. my microphone is working since i tested it. after a few minutes of yelling into my microphone and looking at the confused person at the other end, they click off. i go back to the bot and read the notice that says someone will be with me soon. took a snap of that one and closed the site after thirty minutes waiting for the bot. i spent over an hour of my time to find out that someone would call me the next day and pick up would be arranged. did the test and got an email. need a username and password. i give that. now they want to send a text message to a phone that i have misplaced. pity the poor person who is not tech savvy. nothing but pain for hours of my time.Review from Kathie J

I purchased a PCR COVID test kit which was advertised as being good for international travel. This is completely false as when I was in the US, I was advised that I could not use it as they did not collect the test results. I found the advertising completely misleading and I spent over $120 on it plus ******** points.
