Ill be loosing 10k with them time to shop for new insurance Option #1: If you wanted to keep the vehicle AS IS, you would receive the following settlement: $16,805.43 minus the salvage value (the amount we would receive for the vehicle) $3700.00 = $13,105.43 You would have to make sure that it is repaired according to the estimate, and you will have to contact Service New Brunswick to make sure that it can be put back on the road. The insurance company does not get involved in this part. You will have to contact your broker to make sure that you can still insure the vehicle as well. Unfortunately, we will not pay to repair the vehicle. Option #2: We will keep the vehicle, and you would get the following settlement: Actual Cash Value based on the evaluation of your vehicle: $16,805.43 Federal or HST Tax: $2,520.81 Applicable deductible removed from the settlement: Waived Owner Receives: $19,326.24 Please advise how you want to proceed.
