      I am writing to express my deep concern and frustration regarding an ongoing issue at your gym that has yet to be adequately addressed. The matter at hand involves individuals consistently violating the privacy rules within the change rooms, showers, and sauna areas, despite the presence of numerous signs explicitly prohibiting photography in these spaces. Several instances have occurred where individuals have not only taken pictures in these restricted areas but have also posted them on social media platforms and various apps, attempting to find partners or promote nudity. This blatant disregard for the established rules not only makes me extremely uncomfortable when utilizing these facilities but also poses a serious breach of privacy for all members. I took the liberty of reporting this matter to the gym manager at Yonge and St. Clair location, providing them with substantial evidence, including screenshots from social media depicting the offensive behavior. Unfortunately, no response has been provided, and the issue persists without any visible resolution or preventive measures being implemented. As a loyal and concerned member of Goodlife Fitness, I strongly urge you to take immediate and decisive action to address this serious violation of privacy within your facilities. The continued inaction by the management team is not only disappointing but also leaves members exposed to potential harm and discomfort. If the situation does not improve promptly, I may have no choice but to escalate this matter further. The violation of privacy is a serious offense, and if necessary, I am prepared to involve law enforcement to ensure the safety and privacy of all gym members. I trust that Goodlife Fitness takes these concerns seriously and will act promptly to rectify the situation. I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to hearing about the steps that will be taken to address and prevent such incidents in the future.

      I thought they were a good organization. But when you try to quit, they charge you an extra month. This is a a surprise when you check your credit card after or you're checking account.

      I purchased training sessions during Covid and was told that they would be honoured upon my return. The lady that sold them said you can come back anytime and these will be valid. I paid in full. I tried to return this week and was told that the 12 sessions were void. They lied and refused to honour over $1000.00 of personal training sessions. I didn’t want my money back, just the sessions I paid for. I was told the policy changed in January. Very poor customer service. Don’t promise things and then fail to follow through. I have called head office and will continue to demand settlement. I now want my money returned for the service I paid for but did not receive.

      Worst customer service EVER ! You can not reach them by phone. No one to talk to. Club is very poorly maintained. Lockers and showers are filthy and smell. No one cleans them. Mold is a fungus all over the showers. Myself and others keep complaining to the kid manager that doesn’t care and doesn’t do anything. And on top of that, they keep raising their monthly fees.

      This has less to do with the particular location, and more to do with the corporate office. I had a personal trainer, decided to cancel. Knew ahead of time that I had to pay 10% of the year commitment. Fine. Then, the day that I pay for it to get cancelled they pull a fast one at me and charge me another $500 for another two weeks at the same day. Say that they made the charge 3 days earlier so they can keep the money. And also plan to charge me another for the 23rd this month for God knows why. **** ** ****** ***** *** ******* Legally, it seems I cannot do anything since it seems to all fit into the fine print of the contract. ** ********** * *********** *****. If you care about your money, don't work with these folks. Go to another gym.

      **** ******* ** * ***** They take money from members without consent. Even with all the documents and forms on file, they cannot read the membership agreement. I am out over 200 dollars. Customer service is horrendous and they have no personal contact information if there’s a persistent problem. It’s a generic customer service email. Every person I have spoken to has NO empathy. Such a money grab organization. Even looking at the website glass door.. the employee reviews speak for themselves. Let alone if you check Facebook reviews, there have been many membership **** issues.. none of which rectified.

      Worst customer service EVER tried to cancel my membership; spoke with a guy for 5 minutes; said he'd call me back but never did. I called again and spoke with a girl (I will spare her name), who said she couldn't help and gave me the head office phone number, but the phone number was not in service. I called back and confirmed the number with the same girl again, told her that the number was not in service, and she said "It's not my problem that the number is not in service". WOW. This girl has some anger issues. First of all, they just don't want to help you cancel the membership. Second, they don't care if the head office phone number they gave you is not in service. I asked to speak to her manager or supervisor, but she said no one was available to speak to me at the moment. She asked me to email them.       Goodlife Club – **** *********** ****** ****** *******  Stay away from this club. No hot water in the showers. Club is very poorly maintained. Showers are filthy and smell. Dated equipment and takes them long time to fix. Management does not care about membership or listen to them. Any issue raised results in excuses and arguments. Staff don't seem to care or tired of management not listening to membership.

      I am complaining in relation to there policy of discontinuation for personal training. I had health issue and i have been cancelling my sessions for a month. I tried to consult the management for my health and they literally don't even help. Now i asked them to cancel the membership, they said i have to pay 20% of the total amount payable, even i asked them what about the money that i have already paid that has been paid and must excluded and they just said they can't help me out. I mean what kind of policy is this, it's basically trying to get money out of customers pocket. I told them if it was 20% of the outstanding balance to cancel the membership that is still understandable, but 20% on the whole amount is completely not a reasonable amount to cancel the membership. They are not helpful, i would recommend not to go for personal training because there policy is not favourable.

      If there is less than 1 star. Goodlife earns it with no competition. Completely zero customer services. All they respond with " we are sorry, unfortunately etc etc. I moved to different city for temp work assignment and as a loyal customer I decided to freeze my membership. They claim they sent emails befor the membership resumes. it is strange that all emails/promos are received expect those important emails. For over a year I was being charged and when tried to explainall they say no refund. I asked to cancel my membership they still went and charged my account and refused to refund even the last charge. I will double the price and go to other clubs but will never go or recommend this business that works on hustling people. So my friends who are personal trainers and they bring business to GL.
