      Deals are not bad but customer service is really bad. They will be nice with you until you purchase a package but after that if you have inquiries and want to modify something, they'll be **** and not patient at all.

      Excellent and personalized client service. Monique was very helpful, carefully listened to our needs and wants regarding a resort and was able to find us the right hotel with a great beach, large pools, good food and access to a variety of activities that are best suited for a younger age group. I spent countless hours researching on my own before, once I connected with her and listened to her advice and experience I was able to book within hours. Monique was very empathetic , a joy to work with. She understood the importance of this trip as a surprise gift for my son's 30th birthday. I have been to various resorts in the Caribbean but do not know everything about current resort repairs, seaweed issues in Mexico or food quality of each and every site. I will plan all my upcoming trips with her.

      Made a Booking March 12. Trip for the three of us totalled $3534.00. The next day I looked at the balance on my credit card and found out that tripcental had charged $5797.58 on my card. I then contacted my agent, they it would be reversed. There was a charge of $2178.00 to *** ******* and the second was $85.58 to some insurance company *******. I am still waiting for the two charges to be reversed.

      Just to clarify the actual total trip booked by the client was $5797.58cad. The client tried to use a credit for $2178.00cad that was chargeback by the client a few year ago and was credited back to the client. The client attempted to book using this credit , that had already been refunded to the client over 2 years ago. There was no credit to be applied. Tripcentral.ca is a very forthright company and the total cost of the trip was quoted to the client and it was booked despite it being explained that the amount of $2178.00 was refunded. The client proceeded with the booking even thought the online booking was declined as the voucher didnt exist. Client then called into our reservation sales and worked with one of our agents who looked into it and and advised the customer right away that the voucher she sought had been refunded to her already . The client since agrees that there was no credit for use and refused to pay the actual cost of the trip. Tripcentral.ca is working with our supplier to clear the booking despite the terms of sale. The tour operator advised that the booking is100% non refundable at time of booking . We have spent many hours negotiating for this client to try to get the vacation cancelled and penalties waived.       For the record, in defense of tripcentral.ca business practice. The customer didnt advise the agent that she had a voucher until after she made the booking so the booking was made at the full price and then the client tried to apply the voucher. tripcentral.ca would never just quote one price and charge another.       on December 28, 2018 I used my ******** to purchase *** ***** Reward Certificates for Trip Central after numerous emails back and forth with the trip central representative who was promoting these certificates. "they never expire" , "use them on any vacation packages" we decided to use 2,727 ******** to purchase $300 worth of these certificates for trip central, under the impression we could use them towards any vacation package. We just purchased a vacation package through trip central and decided to finally use our certificates only to find out now we cannot use them because the package was through *******??? There is nowhere on our certificates that states ******* is excluded from these certificates. I could have purchased this package directly through ******* and did not because we had these certificates so we took our business to them. They're response is to save them for a future vacation package. I **** ** *** ** ****** ***** * *** **** ** **** *** *** ** ******* * *** *** *** ******* ************ * **** **** *** *** **** **** * *** ** ***** ** **** *** ** ** ** ***  I believe we were mislead by trip central and they did not honor they're certificates.       Thank you for writing to us . Yes this is an active file in our customer service department . Tripcentral.ca will still honor the *** ***** vouchers that our clients have , no expiry but they can only be applied with certain suppliers , many suppliers actually but the only one that for sure does not accept the vouchers is *******. The vacation was booked on ******* and were not able to be redeemed against that supplier. The package that the client requested to book was with the supplier that we cannot redeem them for. On the phone conversation it was not communicated that if the vouchers could not be used the client would not want to book the trip . Had the client explained this then it would have been discovered that another package , possibly more expensive and not exactly what the client originally wanted would have had to been offered to apply the vouchers. The vouchers do state that booking terms and conditions apply and the website was on the vouchers to see how they can be redeemed. In the end , tripcentral.ca did apologize for the mis communication about the use of the vouchers and offered a ,monetary compensate for the trip that is booked . Also we advised the client to keep the voucher for use next time. Those vouchers will be accepted on any product listed with the suppliers that redeem them.       I did hear back from the customer service representative at Trip Central and they are now going to honor my certificates. They apologized for the confusion. I am just waiting to hear back from them on where I should send them so I can get reimbursed. Thanks so much for your help.

      We have been using Tripcentral for many years. We find that overall we feel we are in good hands with ***** *. She is very detail-oriented to ensure we fully understand everything associated with our vacation eg special requests are made but can not be guaranteed. She is always incredibly patient in dealing with us as we go back and forth re pricing, hotels, dates, etc., etc. We highly recommend Tripcentral **** **

      I had a few business trips to plan and sort out and ******** took the info and provided me quick turnaround time on all the available options for me and it was the easiest way to book multiple trips in a short period of time. Bravo! 6/5 stars minimum!! She found me the best flights with the least amount of lengthy layovers! Highly recommend for any trips! Not just for vacation

      ****** ****** out of the BC office was absolutely fantastic. So friendly, very professional, knowledgeable of alternatives and really generally trying to offer solutions and answers.       I made a final payment by credit card for a booked trip through a link provided by our Trip Central agent on Feb. 6/2024. The final payment reminder letter from our agent received a few days prior stated "Your booking has a final payment that requires payment being received by our supplier on or before 10 Feb 2024 in order to avoid consequences. If the balance is not paid in full, some suppliers automatically cancel bookings (with no refund) and others expire early booking pricing promotions that can increase the cost of your booking." (a rather threatening note). On Feb.9/2024, I emailed my agent and asked that she confirm payment had been made. No reply On Feb.10/2024 (the final payment date), I had not received any confirmation of final payment being made. At 4:45 pm, I contacted Trip Central by phone and got confirmation that the final payment had been made. I find it troubling that I was not notified that final payment had been made., particularly when I was advised non-payment might result in trip cancellation. I was very anxious and disturbed that I did not receive payment confirmation. As a result I have decided to deal directly with service providers (*** ******* and/or *******) in future when traveling to the Caribbean. The service provided by Trip Central was inadequate.

      Dear Client , thank you for your comments about how tripcentral.ca process final payments. We do state on our invoices , "Failure to pay balance amount before due date may result in price increase or cancellation of reservation with penalty". This is a true statement and we need to let our customers know that there is final due date for payment. Sadly some clients miss the payment date and the trip space is released with the supplier and then they have lost the deposit because of not making payment on time. Over the years we have seen this happen all too often, so we have had to change and update our invoices so that all the information is provided to the customer at time of sale. It is better to be upright and transparent to our clients about possible cancellation if payment is not made to the supplier on time. This is a statement on our binding contract , the invoice, to inform the client of the terms and condition of the sale. In the end it's the supplier /tour operator that impose the terms and condition and the penalties associated with a reservation. In no way is tripcentral.ca delivering this information with malice or aggression it is simply a statement to advise further payment is due and to be aware that penalties and or cancellation can occur if the supplier is not paid. I did take a look at your file and I see a final payment invoice issued to you at 0831am on 07feb24 INVOICE *** ******* for your final payment. Processed by our agent. So if you say your payment was made through our link. Isn't that link amazing , it's so easy you just put all your information for your payment and it's a secure link that sends your payment information to your booking agent. Many clients compliment us on our payment link and how easy it is to use. So your payment was sent through the link on Feb. 6/2024 and the payment was made by the agent the next morning. I do not see how this is inefficient in anyway. Perhaps you did not see the invoice come thru to your email , or it was lost in your email box , for that we are sorry you didnt see it. Your payment was processed quickly and efficiently the next day. You can request a phone call back once you send your payment , some clients like to have the call back. Also you are always able to call in and give your payment to any agent to process the payment for you. We do thank you for your comments as tripcentral.ca is always looking for ways to improve our service and how we do business . Our mission is to try to make it easy for our clients to make bookings.       ****** * *********** ** * **** We booked with Tripcentral for my family and my mother and father in law. My mother and father in law were staying on the **** side but would like to have a room with access to the ****** side as we were traveling with kids. When they arrived at **** the resort said they could not access the ****** side and that they had to upgrade and pay $4000 more to be able to access to the ****** side (after paying $9600) for the week....of course they were devastated and just paid as they wanted to be with their grandchildren and the resort saw this and extorted them. We reached out to tripcentral and ******* as this was not what we agreed upon as tripcentral knew we were going as a family and needed and wanted the grandparents to have access to ****** side (otherwise they would have simply stayed on the ****** side as it was cheaper anyway) - having been to ****** **** in jan 2023 my wife and I had experienced the adults only side and figured they would like it as well - and we also had access to ****** when we were there in jan 2023. **** *** ** ***** **** ** ****** *** *** ********** ******* **** ** ****** **** ** *** ***** ***** ** **** *** ***** **** **** ******** **** **** ******* ** ***** I am ********* *** amazed that this happened and now tripcentral and ******* are hiding and not responding to my calls and emails Where are you? ***** ** **** ******* *** ******** ******* * * **** ***** ******** ** ********* **** *********** *** **** ** *** ** *** ********

      Tripcentral.ca has worked on this customer concern from the moment that the situation arose in destination. Upon return the customer service department worked diligently to process the claim, a claim can take up to 16 weeks to finally provide a resolve for our clients. We were able to resolve this situation within one month of the occurrence. Claims can take a while as we have to reach the supplier the hotel and the tour operator, the agent, listen to recorded calls , speak to the customer and compile the information required to understand the case. We are sure to do our due diligence and a proper discovery and investigation so we can provide the client with a proper response and resolve to their concerns. I must say that early in the investigation and solving stage , while the claim was very active in our customer service department the client proceeded to post negatively on social media as well as here on the BBB. We were not sure why we were not given the graces and the opportunity to make it right and why the backlash of our service level was compromised as we were working as quickly as possible to resolve the issue. In light of the outcome , we would hope that a more favorable review be posted by the customer . Yes, we understood after the discovery that the product error had been made by our agents during the booking process. As soon as this was established we set in place compensation negotiation with the client . For the error we apologized. In business we understand that there will be a small percentage of human error and omissions that can occur. This happened and it was not with malice or intent that our agent booked the wrong room category. Since then there has been a product announcement to the sales team to ensure the correct room category is booked to allow the exchange privilege's. The agency we stood by our clients and made it right and we will continue to do so when and if something is a miss . We worked on the case to get all the replies required and the client was offered a future travel voucher to use next time of $2500.00cad. It goes without saying that the clients paid the hotel a price without negotiating the upgrade room cost as they felt they had no other choice but to agree. Since the hotel was paid the amount they quoted the client , tripcentral.ca was not able to negotiate a better/lower price to help minimize the cost to the client while they were in destination. The hotel was not willing to negotiate after the fact since they were paid for the upgrade in full. The room that was purchased in destination was an upgraded room category , hence the additional collection of funds, so we would hope that the guests enjoyed a better room experience during their vacation. Once all investigation was completed both parties, the agency and the client , agreed on the compensation offered. We look forward to having the clients back as repeat clients.
