Tornado plumbing unclogged a main sewer line. They suggested that we replace the main drain line to the city since it was sagging and made out of clay. They offered us a quote...several months later we contacted them back for the replacement. Tornado honoured their original quote; the job costed us ~$7000+HST, which included replacing the entire main sewage line with PVC, and passing a city inspection. This price point was extremely competitive compared to other plumbers in the city. We are extremely happy with the work they did. They had to excavate outside and break concrete inside. They ensured to minimally damage the front lawn and filled back the trench very neatly. They also made a solid attempt to preserve nearby bushes! Inside the house, where they had to break concrete, they set up tarps and cleaned up all the concrete dust! We are incredibly pleased with their work. We will contact them for any future plumbing work and would recommend the same for others.

Called Tornado Plumbing to fix a problem with my kitchen sink. It wasn’t draining and would back up. Called at 3pm the owner who is wonderful, Serhiy came within a few hours, looked over the problem and fixed it right away. He walked me through it all, should be what was fixed and now my drains work better than they ever did. Highly recommend this company, one of the best in the GTA. If you’re looking for great service and customer service, don’t hesitate to reach out to this company.

Tornado Plumbing blocks my driveway with their vehicles every day they work at a home near me. They do this despite repeated polite requests not to park across my driveway. Today, when I took photos the man said - "You don't even have a vehicle in your driveway." Could that be because there was no way for a vehicle to pull into my driveway with his truck parked across it once again? Neither my neighbour or I could get past the truck and trailer to park in our driveways. I wouldn't hire Tornado Plumbing because I like my neighbours and they have no respect or regard for the neighbours.

We agreed to pay $200.00 for Tornado to come troubleshoot a bath tub leak that was dripping onto the drywall ceiling below. The deal was that if we agreed to move forward with the repair, then the troubleshooting cost would be waived (which it was). Our assumption throughout the entire process was that the troubleshooting would include all sources of leakage (otherwise their would be no point in bringing in a professional). The technician found a leak in the drain elbow and concluded that this was the source. I was skeptical because the drip was so small compared to the volume of water that was dripping onto the ceiling. We agreed to pay $250 +tax for the repair (which we did on the same day assuming that the technician correctly identified all sources). The technician offered to replace the other plastic pipes at a higher cost, but because he did not prove that they were leaking, we elected to not replace them for no reason. The next day the leak came back (in high volume). This meant that there were actually 2 sources of leakage. The technician only identified 1 source. Our opinion is that the technician was responsible for checking the overflow (which he chose not to). The overflow is part of the same simple circuit. Anyhow, we reported the problem back to Tornado fully expecting them to offer to come back at a fair price. They informed us that it would be another $200 +tax to send a technician to fix the second leak (that should have been found the first time as part of the troubleshooting). We believe this to be unfair as it would have cost substantially less to do the repair the same day without a second visit. We were willing to pay more, but certainly not for a full visit. We are not the one that missed the second leak. ********************. The question is, who in the world would hire a professional to fix half a problem. No one!

Hi James, thank you so much for the almost honest review.

We found the leak James and 3 another your tenants standing 1 square meters near me and watching me from and every one smarter then Master Plumber.
When I found the leak was exactly from the elbow, Several
time we filled up the bathtub and draining and use shower had and down spout there wasn't any source of leak,5 person includes me watched out.
      What should I do,go take a bath?
Or stay for one week with tenants to use bathtub ?
Home owner and tenants looked at the leak and asked me how much it cost,I said $250+tax to replace the elbow, which was leaking, and I'm not responsible for anything else, only for replacement as we didn't see anything that time.
There was all pipe from overflow to the p-trap surrounded with glue it's looking very suspicious and ************** way resolve the leak.
I offered that replacement didn't even provide the price, homeowner immediately choose the elbow replacement.
After my replacement one of the tenant filled up the bathtub and we drain it all we didn't see any leak from anywhere,my job was done perfectly.
We have proof video, pictures, text with James.

unfortunately we don't have an option to post picture over here or video.

However, I am sorry you were hoping the cheapest option, to replace the leaking elbow, can fix all of your plumbing issues.

      Again reminding you!!!!
Before I went ahead with the repair I explained  in very understandable manner "I'M RESPONSIBLE ONLY FOR THE ELBOW",  4 PEOPLE WERE THERE AND HEARD THAT!!!!

The leak next day you complained I didn't see,you didn't send me any proof of that, just pictures when you took apart your self overflow, and Blaming me there is gasket missing ( I didn't touch that part Even)
      I offered you to install a new one for $200+tax, *************************************************************** ***********

Business doesn't work that way you think, repair little thing be responsible for everything, sorry!!!!
whatever if you have any questions or concern please contact XXXXXXXXXX serhiy:)

Shame on Tornado for trying to cast doubt on a completely honest review. Who in the world would hire a professional and expect only half a job/repair? Our tenants who witnessed the entire process recommended to not to pay for the poor service (but we did anyways because we didn't want to owe them anything and accepted this as a lesson learned).

It was Tornado's poor trouble-shooting (and laziness) that missed the second leak. Any other professional would have found the second leak and completed the job. It should have been obvious to Tornado that the leak they fixed was not large enough to have caused the damage incurred.

      *************************************************************** *

In addition, trying to charge full price for a return visit was totally absurd *******************
