      I lost my MBNA card & reported it on Feb. 1, ****. I was told I would get a new one by *** with in 3 days. I noticed a charge go through on Feb. 4, ****. I called customer ************** said the charge went through because of a glish & put me through to the fraud division. What? The person I spoke to there lied by stating my card was NOT canceled because I reported it lost & no new card was ordered? This charge would have to go through fraud? With in minutes of this conversation, *** delivered my new MBNA card. I called to activate & was told I could not?..I was put to the fraud department & spoke to the same person. Her name was Lady?..I question this lie. She said my NEW card had been compromised by the same charge? What??? She said I would get a new card in 4-5 days & the charge of Feb. 4, **** has to go through fraud? NO it should be reversed with no expense to me, Interest charges etc till this scam is resolved. This person was not nice to deal with, lied about her name Lady? Lied about the situation ..who are they trying to protect who allowed this "glish" to happen? I want the charge reversed ASAP & activate the card my original lost card replaced. This card is used for my business. If this is not resolved to my satisfaction, I will cancel my MBNA.

      DO NOT DEAL WITH MBNA. Its impossible to contact anyone ever. I was trying to cancel my card- couldnt get ahold of anyone. Had zero balance owing and stopped getting bills. Couldnt log in online, couldnt get ahold of anyone on the phone. I had no way to know what was going on. Never heard from them. They ended up closing my account and even though I paid my balance in full, this destroyed my credit rating.

      They are liars and cheats who seek every opportunity to void your interest free balance transfer contract. When I checked the Client Agreement for terms and conditions, there was nothing about those conditions in writing. Nothing in writing!Stay away from this bank and their interest free cards. **************** is completely unresponsive and unhelpful.

      What an awful company to deal with. I've replaced my card twice due to fraudulent purchases on my account and the same company that was charging my card continues to charge it over and over again. Every month I have to get on the phone with this company, spend so much time on hold. Finally cancelled my account with a negative balance, asked for a refund yet again for the purchases, give my number in case we are disconnected...shocking I was....to then have no one call me back. BUT get told while I was being transferred to the Security team that any auto payments will continue even if the account is cancelled....so the fraudulent purchases I have been complaining about and have been refunded for will continue?!?! How is this even possible if its already been deem fraudulent. Consumer beware....what a nightmare.

      This company will never let you cancel your account with a zero balance. I cancelled my account months ago. I paid the bill, in full, before the due date, and the following month, received a bill for over $100. Two weeks after that, they sent me a brand new card (my old one was about to expire when I CLOSED MY ACCOUNT), so I cut it up, called customer service and asked, Are we finally done yet? All I wanted was something in writing saying that I owed them zero dollars.Today, approximately three months after paying off and cancelling my account, I got a bill for ONE CENT! Seriously, $.01. I cant make stuff like this up. I called them (furious), and asked what was going on. No explanation was given that made any sense. He said something vague about a balance transfer charge but couldnt tell me how or why it happened. Anyway, I logged into my bank app, paid their pathetic one cent charge, told my husband to cancel his card, and he said, maybe you should give them three more cents, just be safe. All joking aside, this company seems like it will be harassing me forever. All I want is proof that I dont owe them money, but they keep creating bogus charges out of thin air. If you have a card with them, good luck ever breaking free. If youre considering getting a card with them, DO NOT.

      Call center Management bullys their staff and suspend them without pay if they get less then 10/10 from voluntary customer surveys.

      So, mbna quietly disabled my card because they said my credit score went below the threshold. I found out about it only when my card got expired and I didn't get a new card. No any notifications about it either. Always paid on time, started paying off the balance and here we go, I can't use it anymore. Good to know how MBNA can backstab you. It's funny because in the card profile there are some money available to use. NEVER TRUST MBNA!

      This is the worst credit card I have ever had. Aside from several times at retailers having the embarrassment of it being declined, I have now suffered the most severe embarrassment of my card being declined for a $10,000 limit of which I prepaid $6,000 for a $13,000 cruise. The charge was declined, despite my $6,000 credit because as they say the *** charge is $10,000 limit. Hello! I have prepaid a $6,000 credit!!! To speak to an agent is like going through the third degree, and god help you if you don't have everything they ask for! I am disgusted with this card and am cancelling it as soon as I get my prepaid $6,000 back!
