A few months ago, I requested a one-day service from Lawn Troopers for my backyard, for which I paid around $55. However, after a few days, they claimed I had subscribed to a monthly service costing around $200, despite my initial payment. They are now attempting to ****** more money, citing a collection agency named ******* ****** ******* *** *******. I intend to file a complaint in court against both companies, ** **** **** ****** * **** ******* *** ******* ** *********. I aim to bring attention to their ********* practices, as they charged me extra without providing the agreed-upon full service.Business response

I have spoken to Mr. **** ***** and apologized for the confusion and the way the situation was handled. Mr. ***** hired us in good faith to complete a simple one time service and we appreciate his business and have taken steps to avoid this situation in the future. After reviewing the response regarding complaint ID ********, I am satisfied with the resolution provided by the business. I received a call from the owner of Lawn Troopers, who expressed concern and offered an apology for the confusion. Despite the owner's willingness to reimburse the amount sent to the collection agency, I opted to resolve the matter directly. While the actions of Lawn Troopers' staff were unexpected, I appreciate the owner's honesty and integrity.I have already paid $112.98 to the collection agency and recommend addressing the issue with the staff responsible, Ms. *******. I trust that Mr. H. will take appropriate action against Ms. *******, who is responsible for creating this situation and damaging the company's reputation. It seems she has taken this matter personally, which is not characteristic of good companies that strive not to give a tough time to their customers.
Although Mr. H. requested the return of $112.98, I reassured him that it was not necessary. Ms. ******* was insistent on obtaining this amount through any means necessary, as it aligned with her personal preference. Despite this, I appreciate your assistance and kindly request the closure of this case. Once again, I am grateful for your support and help in this matter. Wishing you the best of luck.
