Purchased 2016 Kia Soul, and bought snow tires as told to me 2 weeks old by Web Lee at Forbes Kia Bridgewater. Went to my mechanic here in Halifax at *** Auto Service on Barrington St Halifax NS . He suggested that they may returned since I paid over $400 plus tax for tires that I used for 2 months, and my mechanic advised me that the tires were not safe to be put on the car because the tires were actually 7 years old and the rubber was dry rotted and the wear bar was to its limit, despite my limited use of the vehicle. What I am looking is an adjustment that is honest and fair. I have tried to get satisfaction from Forbes Kia and was told that they would neither replace the tires or refund the money. I think a full refund or new tires

Called this customer immediately after receiving the complaint and asked when he changed his winter tires over. He stated May. I then asked for receipts from when he changed over his winter tires in May. He could not provide one.
As a result given this was coming up in the late summer season we think that the customer actually used the winter tires from February through to August/September drove close to 15000 km most of witch would be in the spring and summer. Winter tires will wear much faster in summer heat as they are a softer compound than all seasons.
Without proper documentation from the customer supporting the winter tire change over in May as he has stated we will not be reimbursing any moneys back to the customer.
FYI I also called the garage where he services his vehicle to support the claim talked with an individual there and said they would look in to it and call me back, but they never did.
