      I am so happy with Ultimate Home Comfort. I have a rental apartment. The fireplace stopped working and I asked my propane supplier to take a look at it. They told me it was irreparable. Because of the configuration of the fireplace I couldn’t make an easy decision without it costing me a lot of money to remodel and buy a new fireplace. I explained the problem to Ultimate Home Comfort one day whilst reluctantly browsing for a fireplace and George the gentleman in the showroom that day said he was confident it could be fixed. And not to buy anything until their techs took a look at it. It took a little while to get the mechanics out to take a look at it because they are so busy. And the property is in Chester Basin. Yesterday they came out and cleaned a couple of pipes and it is working! This may seem like a small problem but it had haunted me for months. Thankyou Crystal for listening and getting the techs out as promptly as you could. So happy with this result.

      This company was asked to look at my two propane gas fireplaces. I wanted to be safe buying a home with old fireplaces which took me a while to get started. The service tech that arrived was nice but after looking into my two fireplaces one of the pilot lights broke in his hands. He stated it was really old and was corroding. I agreed to pay for a replacement and after looking at the 2nd fireplace he could not get it started again stating I would need a new pilot light for that one as well. I agreed and said to place the order. After waiting for over 5 weeks I called asking the status. The Clerk responded that he was sorry but forgot to get back to me. He stated they do not make parts for the fireplace any longer and that I needed to buy replacement fireplaces. I voiced my displeasure stating that when the tech arrived I had 2 working fireplaces and when he left both were inoperable. He quickly apologized and stated that he did not know they were working before the tech's arrival. He would review the tech notes when he could gain access to them. Several days later still not hearing back I called to be told the same story that I needed to buy new fireplaces. After voicing that I had already been through this he then looked at the tech notes and stated the tech did not indicate he broke the pilot light nor that they were working prior to his arrival. Parts are no longer available and I need to buy new fireplaces. Frustrated, I convinced him to seek parts if any old ones were available. After a couple of days I called and was told I was out of luck. I was mad at this point as I did have two working fireplaces before they touched them and was required to pay their service fee. Instead of $200.00+ in parts needed they wanted me to spend $10k for new fireplaces. My wife sensed my anger, knowing nothing about fireplaces, went on line and within an hour found parts. They were installed, inspected, and working great now. I advise against ever using Ultimate Home Comfort.
