During the month of January 2022 Onside Restoration Services was contracted to remove and replace the hardwood flooring in my home. During this time they damaged: - Two dining room tables - One coffee table, - Two speakers - One Microwave oven - Twice - on separate incidents (Broke the door handle, then broke the internal installation hardware They also failed to complete the kitchen baseboard replacement and also the final paint touch ups for the walls. I have had to keep initiating ongoing communications to resolve this issue. ******* **** (Project Manager) has rarely responded. Long story short, on Jun 1, 2022 I sent ******* an email proposing a settlement amount of $******** and asked to have a cheque for that amount sent to me. On or about June 12, 2022 he sent someone to my house with a cheque and a release form. The release form showed the correct amount, however the cheque was for a lesser amount (even lesser than the amount they previously acknowledged they settle on) so I did not accept the cheque and did not sign the release agreement (which wasn't signed by them anyway). I illustrated the problem to the representative and asked him to come back with a cheque for the proper amount. On June 25 I called ******* and he said he thought the cheque re-issue was taken care of and would get back to me. On August 2nd I left ******* a voice message to have the proper cheque delivered by Thursday. ******* is still not returning my calls. I leave a voice mail message every time. Your help in resolving this is very much appreciated. I am willing to take on the task of repairing all of these items and getting the rest of the work completed. I just want them to send me a bank draft for $******** Please call me at ************ to discuss. Thank you!
