Please read this review BEFORE you hire them for your move, hopefully this review will save you the heartache we are going through. We had moved from Ontario to New Brunswick and after many phone calls for reassurance on the handling of our “stuff” we went ahead and hired them. They could not have been any more accommodating with my questions, always quick to reply and very courteous. Our loading was rescheduled for two days earlier and we didn’t foresee any issues with the change, but due to covid we could not get to the new house any earlier than 2 days after the unloading. When we did get to the house, the first thing we saw was the busted coffee machine, ok stuff happens and we bought a new. It carried on from there. The handles from the safe were missing so we called the driver and he obviously had no clue as to where he put them. Ok. Then we saw our art works were damaged, frames busted as well, my important legal papers, including my divorce papers and income taxes were strewn over multiple boxes, and they were taken out of a box I had sealed. Other boxes that we had sealed had been opened and riffled through; some boxes had no moving stickers on them- something you need to make a claim, go figure. Two boxes of my mother’s china are missing, one of the last things i have that belonged to her. There are boxes missing of kitchen ware and dishes. We also have a box that is not ours, we have contacted the company about this, surely the person wants their stuff back! Why did they open boxes we had sealed? Why were they so reckless with our stuff? The astonishing lack of care and disrespect for other peoples stuff is disgusting, and we feel that because we could not be there for the unloading that they took advantage of that situation. This moving company charged us over $25,000, which i still have my doubts over the weight they said the truck was. We did not have any large furniture other than 3 beds, 2 china cabinets, a futon, a large espresso machine and 2 bookcases. I had expressed my concern over this to the company before we hired them as this seems to be a common thread among moving companies. They wont unload until they get payment. Please don’t get scammed by this moving company.
