  Sykes were very prompt once contacted to do a estimate to replace aluminum wiring and update service panel. A date was provided to do the work which was exactly the crew showed up to do the work. They worked steady each day answered questions and provided suggestions when asked. They treated our house with respect they had two set of shoes one for inside and another for outside. Which they continually changed when they went out side for supplies or work. During each day they cleaned up during there work and at the end of each day. ****** ********* ***** **** ** ** *** electrical work highly professional diligent hard working workers from. Estimator Lisa to the crew that did the work.

  The job was to deactivate existing aluminum wiring and replace with copper wire. A licensed electrician came to estimate the job of either doing a temporary pig tailing fix or replacing the aluminum wire with copper wire. She was very thorough in checking the original wiring and very clearly explained the pros and cons as well as the cost of each and what the job entailed. We chose to replace the aluminum with copper which was more expensive but I believe was the best choice. She was very professional and very good to work with. The four men who did the replacement were also very good to deal with. They arrived on time, were very knowledgeable, worked efficiently, pleasant to talk to and willing to answer any questions I had. At the end of the work day they did a thorough cleanup before leaving. Naturally there was some interuption with our home life while the work was being done but not nearly as much as we had anticipated. All permits and City of Winnipeg Inspection was included. We were very pleased with all of the employees and the work that they did.

  Sykes is an excellent company to do electrical work. In our case we removed Knob and Tube wiring, installed a new 200 amp panel and installed a number of new lights. Lisa the estimator was so marvellous to deal with and answered all of our questions during her estimate visit. We chose Sykes from three estimates and are thrilled with the result. 1. Four electricians visited our home and were done all the work in less than 6 days. 2. Justin gave us daily updates each morning on what we could inspect. 3. The crew of four came each day at 8 and never left before the end of the day. 4. Sykes electricians patched each hole to perfection so that our painter had very little sanding and no patching. 5. They cleaned and vacuumed each day so that our lives were not disrupted. We will definitely hire this company for all our electrical work. Very impressed.

  I had my house re wired to copper wiring. The crew was amazing. Very efficient and cleaned up every day when they were done. Very happy with their work.

  Lisa was just the best!! I told her the work that I needed done here. She said no problem, next week I will send Victor. Victor was just so unbelievably professional and he went the extra mile even added an extra connection at the end of my car, put an extra Outlet outside. Glen the big boss came by just to make sure everything was OK. He didn’t really need to check up because Lisa and Victor we’re doing great thank you.

  Sykes electric replaced the knob and tube wiring in my 100+ year old home. The entire team exceeded my expectations. Glen and Lisa quickly arranged for the estimate and a date for the work to be done. The team of electricians and apprentices were punctual, polite, personable, respectful, tidy and hard working. They kept me informed throughout the project and respectfully responded to all my questions. All holes in the wall and ceiling were meticulously patched. The Sykes Electric team truly exceeded my expectations and provided exceptional customer service. They made what could have been a stressful experience a pleasurable one.
