Worst ever! I told them over the phone the error code. Charged me almost $200 to come view it for 5 minutes. Then never got back to me with fix.

Had a simple job replacing some parts on a fridge, it was
hardly used. So, after all the parts were installed things got worse.
Technician decided to change things and blew the breaker in the end, after
several attempts to fix problem never did any good. now they won’t replace it, because
they said they don't replace appliances, even when it was their mistake. ASAP
gave some of my money back but I argued all the money should be refunded and
they can get me a new fridge. I have asked for the owner a few times, but no
reply. I would not recommend this company and I'm contacting Consumer Affairs.

I do not recommend this business based on my recent experience. *** *** * ******* ********** ** ***** ***  One of the elements on our gas stovetop stopped working, and we knew what it was based on a prior service from ASAP when the technician said that if it stopped working, the burner would need to be replaced. ASAP had a record of this in their system. When I called I was told that they still needed to come out and confirm. I agreed to pay their service fee up front on the understanding that it covered the subsequent installation once they had the part. After the technician visited and confirmed, I waited a couple of weeks for a quote. When I didn't receive a quote I emailed the office to ask about the status. I then got an email back asking me to send a photo of the serial number. I did this and then waited another couple of weeks. Hearing nothing, I emailed again to ask about the status. I then got an email back with the quote. Does the office only do stuff when people pester them? The kicker was that the quote included another service fee. I emailed back and inquired about this and the response back was the following: "We require a technician to conduct a professional diagnosis of the appliance before ordering any replacement parts for issues that are beyond cosmetic. This procedure helps us ensure that we accurately identify the problem and avoid potential restocking fees for returned parts, as well as prevent any unnecessary delays for you.
The initial fee you paid covers the technician's assessment, time, and the time for our office staff to create the estimate. The installation fee is separate, as it pertains to the labor involved in replacing the burner once the diagnosis is complete."
A total rip off. I decided I didn't want to give this company any more money beyond the $200 I already paid for nothing.

Very disappointed with the overcharging for labour from ASAP Ventures for our recent dishwasher repair. We had experienced a problem with our Bosch dishwasher, it was displaying an E09 code. My wife researched the error and determined that our heating element was defective, as were getting no hot water in the normal cycle of operation. As instructed from online YouTube video for this problem, we unhooked the power to the unit in an attempt to clear the code, tried this a few times and this didn't fix the issue. It was clear to us the heat pump was defective and needed to be replaced. We contacted ASAP Ventures for an estimate of the repair. We asked if we could get the part ordered and have a technician come onsite to install it for us. They advised that they needed to come onsite to do a diagnostic inspection, and required a one-time labour charge of $174.30, with payment upfront to book a time. We paid and a time was booked. The onsite visit included 10 minutes to tell us what we already knew. They advised they would send an estimate of the repairs which we also needed to pay upfront before they would order the part. The estimate was $403, which included another labour charge $185.
We strongly object to the "double charges" for labour which came to around $350 in total for less than 30 minutes work by the technician, over 2 visits. We used this company a few years back in 2021 and they included a cost for labour (up to 2 hours). This new process is ripping off customers. We could have put this total charge ($577) toward another new dishwasher, and they should have advised us on this.
ASAP did not provide the best service, advice and value to us. We reached out to talk to the manager to discuss the billing. After trying numerous times to phone them, I finally got through and was advised that a manager would give to a call back. Still waiting for a call back after over a week.
So angry and feeling ripped off! Buyer beware. Do not use these guys!

We were referred to ASAP by Trail Appliance.
Services included pick up, delivery and installation of a new microwave and dishwasher, as well as the removal and recycling of the old appliances.
We were quoted 4 hours at $166.00 which we assumed was a maximum estimate, and that we would be charged the actual time. The technician was there for 2 hours. Taking travel and disposal time into consideration, we feel 3 hours is acceptable, but were charged the full amount as they already had our credit card info. We contacted the invoicing department by phone and by email to challenge the $734.38 exorbitant bill, however one has had the courtesy to return our calls.
We feel we have been ripped off, and the lack of a response is extremely unprofessional.

    *** ******* **** **** ***** *** **** **** * *** ***** *** ** ******** ** ** ** ****** They claim a part is discontinued and try to up-sell you. This is a completely unethical business and quite frankly a scam. Not surprised they are not accredited.

    Hi Eric,
I understand your frustration regarding the unavailability of the required part for your repair. Our technician visited your home and diagnosed that the transmission and related drive train of your washer were damaged and needed replacement. Unfortunately, without an in-home diagnostic, it’s impossible for us to accurately predict this.
We would appreciate it if you could get in touch with our manager, as we are eager to assist you further. Upon reviewing the services performed, I can assure you that our actions were in good faith and the diagnosis made by our technician was accurate. The responsibility for the availability of parts lies with the manufacturer, and I won’t defend their decision not to supply replacement parts for your appliance.
We regret that we couldn’t fix your washer this time, Eric! Please feel free to call us to discuss this matter further.

I unfortunately called ASAP to deal with a dishwasher not draining. They said the pump was dead and couldn’t be replaced, it was too old of a machine. My tenant had a plumber friend look at it. He cleared the drain and all was good. Saved me over $1000.00 to replace the dishwasher. The next time I called them they were supposed to fix the water draining out of the washing machine. They said the drain pump was dead and they couldn’t get parts. I called a place that sells refurbished old-style stackers like mine and he said parts are readily available. He came over on Good Friday and found - once again- that the drain was blocked and fixed it in 5 minutes. ASAP seems to have a mantra - and they take your money up front and bill your credit card for the balance. When the technician is unqualified and they actually don’t fix the appliances they shouldn’t expect a payment in advance. I will never call them again. You shouldn’t either. A one star rating it too high. Sincerely Susan

    Hi Susan,

Upon reviewing our company records, it appears that we haven't serviced a dishwasher for you. However, we do have documentation of servicing a washer and dryer. Unfortunately, the part number for the drain pump, WH23X10016, has been discontinued by all of our OEM parts suppliers in Canada.

While we're glad to hear that you managed to resolve your issue, we would have appreciated it if you had contacted us with your concerns before leaving an unfavorable review. Part discontinuations are beyond our control.

Please feel free to reach out to me directly via email for any further concerns or issues you may encounter. I'm here to assist you: [email protected].

    Best,
    Vanessa

I can’t even give this business one star. They don’t return calls. They don’t answer their emails. They don’t do what they say they will do, and they charge you up front for a repair appointment but neglected to order the part. Now they say they will charge me an additional $75 for cancelling said appointment, and it was their fault they could not attend to the repair without the part.

Technician came by on time and was professional. Installed new drain pump and left. Issue was not repaired so I called to inform them. He came back looked at it - confirmed it was still broken. He ordered the same part again. Company wanted me to pay for, not only a new service call (an additional $150), but was going to charge me $100 for the second drain pump, after saying the first one might defective. Cancelled the service call * *** ** *** * *** ********** * ******
