I got my carpets cleaned by the Canada specialized cleaning agency on 21st june 2021 for $100 for all 3 rooms and 1 medium size area rug. But after he did the carpets cleaning the carpets were stinking pretty bad. Maybe he didn’t take out the water completely and it was having a musky smell. I waited until 5 days and contacted this guy by text on the 25th june 2021 saying the carpets r smelly and after insisting he agreed to come the next day. And he even agreed on the text that my carpets were not smelling at all before he came and cleaned it. the next day that is 26th June 2021 he came and checked and agreed it’s stinking and didn’t even offer to clean them again sprayed some chemicals and left. But it got worst so we booked the carpet cleaning again with ******** ****** **** and ended spending $317 for cleaning the same carpets all over again. Now we r asking canada specialized cleaning agency to return the money and he is refusing to return my money $100 and is rude.Business response

To ****** ***,I just received your letter about the complaint made by ****** *****, There was no smell in his place as he noted that I said there was. I told him if there is a smell it is not from the rugs. In order for rugs to smell water damage has to occur. The rug has to be soaking wet for two or more days which will result in browning and a bad dirty sock smell. When I went there to view the rugs, they were clean and no damage or smell was present, to make the customer happy I deodorized the rug. He told me after the deodorizer wore off the smell came back worse. That is imposable. That day it was close to 40 degrees outside. Bur bur rugs you clean at low pressure. They probably dried in 3 hours. The area rug I did would have been totally ruined as well but there were no issues there. I asked him for me to come back again to do a fresh cleaning and he refused.There will be no refund as the client is only trying to recover from his expensive cleaning from ********. Please note I have been cleaning for 30 year and I was the shop Steward at **** ****** ******** for 7 years.Thank You,

I am rejecting this response because:I don’t agree to what he is saying even ****** ****** ******** confirmed the carpets were stinking because of water damage. And how come the smell went away after the ****** ****** ******** did their job? There was absolutely no smell after we got the carpet cleaning done by ****** * ********. That’s doesn’t make sense. I am going to attach their report too.
and we didn’t get the carpet cleaning done by ****** thinking that we can get the money from Canada specialize cleaning agency at all. We want our money back because he didn’t do this job well and it was inconvenient for us. And after going back and forth with the Canada specialize cleaning we had no choice but to book the carpet cleaning with ****** because the smell was unbearable. He offered to clean the carpets only after we booked it already with the other company. And we had our doubts on him cuz he didn’t do it correctly the 1st time where he must have cut corners and how was he gonna fix it the second time. I have no regrets in getting it done with ****** because they did a good job.

I am sending out a Red Flag Bulletin to the service community (cleaning companies, electricians, plumbers and handy man services) warning them of this customer and his address of his lying tactics. There will be no refund and I don't appreciate the customer using BBB as a form of ********* ******. Case closed

It’s not about the money anymore. He is being rude, disrespectful and dishonest.
