**** ** ****** ***** ************** On December 1st, 2022, I visited Nissan Applewood Richmond for a car service. When I booked the appointment online on November 30th, I selected the $299.99 *** package. However, the *** package was charged $339.95 when I received the receipt. The service advisor, Matthew S*****, told me that their prices increased on that day. When I pointed out that the pricing should match what was advertised and chosen online, he responded that Nissan, not the dealership, had made the decision to raise the price and that he couldn't make any changes. I paid off the charge, went back home, and checked their listed price for the service package. It was still $299.99. I took a screenshot of the booking webpage and attached it to this complaint. * ******* **** **** ** * ***** ** ***** ************** ** I was not notified for an increase of service price prior to getting my car served, if such increase was truly national wide and out of the dealership's control. Therefore, I would like a refund ** *** ********* ***********, an official public apology from the dealership* *** ************ *** ** *************. ------------------- I have two minor complaints about the service in addition to the major one. First of all, Matthew S***** did not wash my car before giving it back to me and did not inform me of this fact. After I could ask him again why my car hadn't been washed, he said that their car-washing service is closed when the temperature falls below zero. Although he provided a free car wash on another day, this offer should be made prior to my going back to ask him. The complaint is partially correct. We did misquote the price.
The price did go up, however, we should’ve honored the price that was online at the time.
Matt is a new advisor at our store, still undergoing training.
