      Street party when we arrived, had a hard time getting to the house. Garbage Bags and garbage all over the front entrance to the house, mold on cushions by the pool mold all over the pool deck What a disgrace. Had the family on this trip and was a disappointment to all Not worth the $3,000.00 we spent for a Family Vacation. Do not rent this Facility **** ************ *** ********* ******* The Owner should be ashamed

We have immediately removed the listing noted from active status on our website pending review and resolution. As each owner/property manager is responsible for their listing details on our site, we have contacted the property management company, asking that they be in immediate contact with you to address the issues you experienced. Please accept our genuine apologies for the disappointment you encountered with your stay. We work hard to ensure that inventory listed on our site meets the expectation of guests and, as noted, this property is no longer active on our website. Again, we thank you for bringing your experience to our attention so that it can be addressed. It is very much appreciated.

      I requested a booking for a property that was listed at $330 per night. Then, within 24 hours of making the booking (during what the company calls a grace period), I was informed that the property price was actually $440 per night. I was given the option to either cancel the booking or pay the increased price. I indicated that this was unfair and that if they posted the wrong price, they should still honour it and received a canned response that offered the same two options. As a result I cancelled the booking. I would recommend booking with a more reputable vacation booking website.

      Thank you very much for your feedback relating to your experience with one of our owner listings. Each owner or property manager is responsible for the accuracy of the data they have in place. While it is strongly encouraged that accuracy be maintained at all times, occasionally that may not be the case. As noted, we do have a Grace Period on all matches, in order to allow the guest and host to review all details of the stay and communicate directly to ensure that the booking is satisfactory to both parties. The match can be cancelled by either party during the Grace Period with no charge. We do sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this owner’s oversight. Please be assured that we immediately communicated with the owner regarding the situation and all data has been confirmed showing as accurate at this time.

      Process was efficient. Very prompt reply from Owner Direct when making inquiry, and owner was equally prompt when contacted to confirm booking. Very pleased with how the system worked.

      Just had what I thought was a confirmed booking but when I went to pay I had a message saying the owner has received another inquiry from a different web page so they would let us know in 24 hours if we still had it. Not how to do business! Will never use Owner Direct again. Only reason I left a one star review was because you can't have zero stars!

      Thank you for your feedback relating to your experience when requesting a property with an owner/property manager listed on our website. In order to maximize their opportunities for rentals, many owners/property managers have their properties listed on more than one website, with availability calendars updating daily. Unfortunately, on occasion, this can mean that a property showing availability has just been reserved and paid for on another website and not yet updated. Our records indicate that shortly after your request had been entered, the property manager contacted us to advise that the dates were unavailable and we immediately contacted you to advise and offer possible alternatives. Please be assured that, since this was an inquiry only and not matched, no credit card information was taken. Owner Direct does also have a 24 hr minimum grace period in place for all completed matches. This grace period is to ensure that the owner/property manager and guest matching have the opportunity to communicate directly in order to ensure that both parties are happy with the details of the potential stay. No credit card charges are processed during the grace period.
