This company needs to get their employees to relay the same information as I was told different information by different people on separate occasions. I called in December ************************************************************* Feb ****, I was told by the lady that even though my name is not the primary name on the account but I co signed the contract and my name was on the account I would be able to call back in the end of January **** to cancel my subscription to this company's services, she even told me she confirmed the details with a manager. She even allowed me to change billing methods at this time. I called yesterday (Jan 29, ****) to cancel my contract once it is completed in Feb **** and was told I was not allowed to and that I would have to get written consent from my EX who no longer lives in this house. This company will allow me to change account information such as payment methods but won't let me cancel my contract when it is over in Feb ****. Not only that, they want me to reach out to my ex to get written consent when my name is also on the account. This ********************** is ridiculous when it comes to cancelling services but has no problem taking your money.Review from Sheila B

Terrible customer service, i moved in July ******************************************************************************** new residence even though it was only 10 minutes away. They promised it would be soon so I didn't worry about it. It is now 3 months later and I have asked repeatedly to have my service canceled with no fees as they obviously cannot provide me with service. They refuse to do that, say they are going to credit my account but never do and continue charging me. Also the service before this move was always terrible had to have doorbell camera replaced multiple times with no credit for lost time with service. I have asked my issue be escalated to management several times and no one will call me. I am very upset and frustrated.Liberty Security Systems Inc Response

Terrible customer service with respect to my situation. Our second home which is in a high theft area (Lake House) and does not have operational video cameras from Liberty Security. Since the installation (this year), the cameras have been nothing but ineffective especially in remote viewing. I have asked them to come and fix them and was told I would need to wait a minimum of 4 weeks as the home is deemed outside of the territory. I offered to pay the fee as we need to have our cameras in working conditions. At this time, I am not filing a BBB complaint and was hoping a review would trigger further discussion. I have requested my situation be escalated and was simply dismissed with "we will follow up" with no timelines. I was also threatened that I would have to pay out the contract should I decide to cancel services. Why the threat and what services? Said services are not being delivered. This would be an interesting case to process in small claims court for services not provided. It is so important that potential buyers who live in remote areas understand the lack of support you will receive from Liberty Security. This is not right.Liberty Security Systems Inc Response

I strongly believe liberty security **** is a fraudulent company. I have been trying to get out of their company from day one, first, it was my equipment took over a month to get hooked up, they wouldn't let me talk to anyone right up until a whole year. Soon as I get through to someone on the phone, they would hang up on me. Then after a whole year passed they answered and said it's too late to cancel although I've been trying since day one. I wrote them multiple letters and emails no response. Then when I tell them, I'm gonna have to bring them to small claims court someone actually contacted me back through email and said they would pass along my message. Which they never did. My equipment never worked right from the start, that's why I wanted them to take back their equipment right away. I had two break-ins no police were notified. I had alarms going off at random times. Even had fire warning I rushed home and nothing was on fire and no fire station or police were noticed once again. I tried to contact them so many times, I wrote them letters they began to ignore me again then when I asked to speak with the manager, they kept giving excuses saying I can't talk to the manager, which is very odd considering every other company let you talk to the manager. Then I had some random girl message me saying I asked to talk to her I didn't know who she was. I still don't know who she is and she said a bunch of lies to me I still have all the emails she made up so much lies, it's obviously a fraudulent company I don't understand why a bunch of lies in the emails she wrote me and saying, I pacifically asked for her like I know who she has, or some thing. Now they have me in collections if I had my time back I never ever would've answered the phone for those scammers. They are nothing but a scam.Liberty Security Systems Inc Response

Although we live in a very small community, service has been great, we just called in to renew our contract and we were offered a number of upgrades, free of charge.The sales person was very helpful and clear as to what we would be receiving.
