Absolutely terrible. They deserve 0 stars. *****, ****, and *** have done nothing but harrass and threaten ** from the beginning. Every time we say no, they threaten ** and say they ******** the current vehicle I own all because we said no and cancelled the deal. We said no at least 10 times, but they continued to harrass and threaten us. No actual paperwork was signed, and they would rather have my vehicle towed because they said they owned it. They don't. I never gave permission to them to trade it in. They are rude, ignorant and would rather bully people into getting their way. Shop elsewhere unless you like to be harassed, threatened and belittled.Review from Chris N

Just bought a 2022 Ford Maverick from them. Worst buying experience I've ever had. Over the years I've owned lots of vehicles but dealing with Freedom Ford? Terrible. Had to order the Maverick, none were in stock. They said it was "On its way." OK whatever that means. I signed the deal assuming the truck was somewhere between Mexico and Canada. The more I deal with them the more suspicious I got. Went back and talked with the ***** *******. Ok the truck was still at the factory but at least it was off the assembly line. ***** ******* said he would give weekly updates on the truck. Nope, not a one. I tried to phone him. I was anxious to know when it was on the train. No response. Four left messages throughout the day but no call from him. Finally on the fifth call I connected with him. Yes the truck was on the train. Yay! Once the truck was here I went in to sign the papers. We had already discussed all of the various extras like extended warranty. I turned them all down previously. I'm a little gullible and trusting. We start signing papers. All I'm buying is the truck, nothing else. Seems straight forward. I just want my truck and get out of there. I got home and started looking at all the papers I signed. They slipped in a Windows Protection system ($1,500) and a Ford Protection Plan ($4,300). Yikes $5,800 more than expected. Emailed the finance guy pointing out the discrepancy. We talked. I asked how they were going to fix the problem. It had only been two days, I suggested we re-sign updated papers. He called me back later that day and they said I was stuck with the additional items, they weren't going to do anything. Having read the contracts for these two additional items, there was a full refund cancellation option on both of them. I wrote up the cancellation notices, went back and gave them to the finance guy. 10 minutes later they agreed to re-sign the sales contract as per what we originally agreed to. Got the right contract amount and couldn't get away from them fast enough. What a bag of snakes. Shop elsewhere unless you don't have another option. If you do deal with them, watch them like a hawk. Totally untrustworthy.Review from Kim B

No stars, the ******** **** **** has done nothing but harass me since I cancelled my deal. He threaten to have my vehicle that I own picked up as he says they owned it. He does not believe about my health conditions and that they’ve gotten worse and that I cannot afford this vehicle at this time. He was so rude and text messages that I was receiving and told me that they were taking out payments that were dated for 16 July whether I took the vehicle or not. This was at the end of June today July 6 he put harassing and very rude review up in the company website that I work for. He is not a client for the business I work for but left a rather upsetting and rude remark in the company reviews. This man is not as nice or polite as I thought. The company I work for has nothing to do with my decision to cancel my purchase and should have left me alone. I would not recommend anyone purchase a vehicle from this man.Review from John B

On Monday I went in to Freedom Ford for a scheduled recall on my Ford Fusion (re. brakes). I was subsequently informed that they could not do the recall as my front and rear brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced for over $1000. They said that the brakes “were very dangerous and need to be replaced before recall can be done.” I asked for the car back in order to get a second opinion which I did today at a company (****** ** ****) that my neighbor recommended. They said that my front brakes were at 6 which is totally acceptable and depending on how much the car is driven, I might check back in a year or two. They said that my back brakes were at 4 which is slightly below average but definitely not dangerous. Their recommendation was although not strictly necessary, I should consider changing my back brakes now and leave the front brakes until later. They said that they would be willing to talk to the dealership if necessary and did not want the dealership to take advantage of me. These brake pads and rotors were replaced for $450. I immediately went back to the dealership and spoke to the ******* explaining the results of having visited ****** ** ****. He proceeded to say that both he and the technician were extremely worried about the condition of the brakes (especially the front ones). After revealing that the wheels had never been removed he offered to do this in order to allow closer inspection. I then asked how he could have made an assessment that the brakes were dangerous without having taken off the wheels. There was no response. What do you call this? …taking advantage of a woman? Bait and switch, dishonesty Whatever you call it, it shouldn’t be happening and dealerships should be held accountable. I will not get the recall done at the dealership but how can I trust any Ford dealership now? Looking to protect others from this ********** service and figure out how I can get the recall (s) done by a responsible dealership.
