Marcson homes**** ***** ** ********* ******* ****** owe our landscaping deposit. I have been trying since Sep 2021 to get our refund back. We were told that it would take 3-4 weeks for the cheque to be mailed but I have not got the money back. I have sent so many emails. They said that they have a corporate partner that has to sugn the cheque and this info was given to us in the beginning of November. After that i sent another email by the end of Nov threating them i will be doing a formal complaint. No response so far.Initial Complaint

I purchased a new construction home on March 10, 2021 (fully signed by builder march 17, 2021) and was told it will be built to completion in 10-12 months. There was a new contract re-signed on April 6, 2021 due to an error with financing on the builder’s contract. Conditions were removed on April 14, 2021. I completed all of my client selections on April 21, 2021. Nothing left for me to do as a client. I was told 2-3 weeks to get my construction drawings. This home has been purchased for just under $400,000. I have already given them a deposit of over $20,000. The builder job number for this contract is “******”. It has been 5+ MONTHS and the builder has still not provided construction drawings. It has been 6+ months since the 1st contract. I was left in the dark for weeks and months and keep being ignored. I have followed up via email, text, and phone. I have followed up with my salesperson and the head office for several weeks. * **** * **** ******* *** ********* **********Business response

Just to follow up on this issue. The customer did attend to our place of business on September 22nd, and met with our sales administrator. Updates in regards to the delays were provided, and we can confirm that the file is currently moved on to our design firm for blue prints.

I am rejecting this response because I have still not received construction drawings and a timeline for building my house. I have been told months ago that I would receive drawings and never did. I have now been told I will receive them by October 22, 2021 at the very latest (4 weeks from September 24, 2021). I don't have faith that they will follow through as they haven't done that in the past. Until they actually provide me with construction drawings and a confirmed construction timeline, I am still in the same position I am currently in. I am not ready to close this file as the builder has only promised action but has not yet delivered. They done this before and not delivered. This case is still ongoing and open.

Good morning ****,
When you purchased your home, as it is in a multi family setting, you were informed that files proceed when there are other purchasers to get the building going. At this point I can confirm that we have in fact sent the file to our design firm.
The information provided to you from ******** in our head office was correct. When the plans have been approved by our construction department, they will be sent the are manager, *** ******* to review with you. His cell number is ************ should you wish to talk to him in the mean time.
As for timelines, its is just not possible to provide specifics especially during covid. Some units move at historical build times, while others, may be caught with a staffing delay or supply chain issue, which has increased in frequency during covid.
