I have nothing but praise for Knight Hearing and *****. Since moving from small town SK, this is the first company that has treated me so well. They came into my life on one of the coldest winter days 4 years ago and definitely are my go to for.all ************************* needs. I replaced my aging furnace and had them install an AC come spring. There were a few hiccups at first, until I learned how to program everything ??. ***** was patient with me, explained what I should do, NOT mansplain, and did not make me feel foolish one bit. I needed to call this weekend and he was willing to come out NO it is not +40 nor is it -40, I told him to wait until today. Being the great man that he is, he DID juggle his schedule to accommodate me today. THAT people is a professional??Knight Heating is a number that all ******** area people need to program into their phones. The best, finest professionals you will ever find or need, in my humble opinion. Thank You ***** and your awesome office staff ????***************************Knight Heating Ltd Response

This company did not complete their work to a professional standard, leaving the roof exhaust vents straight open to the elements, not bothering to install a 45 or 90 degree elbow at the top of the pipes therefore letting the rain and snow come directly into the pipes. Also, by not properly sealing the reused furnace chimney it rains directly down into the furnace room at times. Of course the city permit inspection passed because they were lackadaisical and did not even attempt going up on the roof to check the unfinished work required by both the Navien tankless hot water tank and the Bryant furnace. Now is the company going to do anything to fix their shortcomings? Not according to Lloyd, because as far as he is concerned the job passed inspection, no matter how poorly and overlooked it was. The equipment is always breaking down and has problems with it, this winter has been particularly hard with a lot of snow sitting on the pipes, melting and freezing up there, it’s no wonder the furnaces and tank are starting to now fail because they can’t vent properly with frozen pipes.Knight Heating Ltd Response

Upon review of your history with Knight Heating Ltd, you had a new furnace and Navien HWT installed in 2011. Both the furnace and the tank were permitted at that time and both installations passed all codes with the City of Edmonton giving you a green sticker of approval. Reviewing all your work orders dating back to your installation, there has been nothing more than general maintenance, service and filter replacements done to your equipment. No major components noted in our records have ever been replaced with the 2 Bryant furnaces installed in 2011. At no time did you indicate that anything was leaking and we have no records of this for the last 10 years on file. At no time was there any parts replaced due to the shotty furnace as per your response. The furnace seems to have been in good working order since installation in 2011 as per our records of all your general service work and maintenance. The installation manual for your 355BAV furnace states on page 27 (anybody can look this up), that your exhaust vent is to be straight up and out with no elbows so putting a 45 or 90 degree elbow is actually incorrect as per the Bryant manual. You had another contractor in your home at the same time you called us out to your home. You explained to our technician that you had no intention of paying for the call out even at the time you called to arrange. The weather in Edmonton has been cold and many other homes faced the same issues and it was explained to you at the time that you called for a service, that the ice build up on the vents is quit normal for -30 temperatures. Please provide a copy of the other service company you had in stating that the venting was improperly installed. There was nothing installed improperly and all our work orders indicate that you had nothing more than the required annual service work performed. Thank you, Knight Heating Ltd.Review from Allan B

My wife and I just used Knight Heating to install a new furnace in our home and the experience could not of been more pleasant. This is a small family business that will take care of all your heating needs. The staff was very knowledgeable and polite… my wife was very impressed when they layed runners from the front door right on down to the furnace room as to not make a mess on the floors! They left everything better then they found it. We had a very small issue that was out of their control and **** was very quick to fix it. We would sincerely recommend Knight Heating for any heating or cooling needs! Respectfully, Allan *******Knight Heating Ltd Response

Knight heating did our basement furnace and ducting along with main floor air conditioning. an awesome job from start to finish. They went the extra mile with a few other related items that were never installed properly when the house was built. The crew was professional, cleaned up after themselves, explained what was being done and why, and exceeded all of our expectations. It’s was a pleasure having certified journeymen, who show pride in their work, complete our project. We would hire them again and highly recommend their services.Knight Heating Ltd Response
