A representative came by last night in ********* **. It was minus 22 out there and the poor guy didn't have the proper attire to be out in such weather...no gloves and converse looking type shoes...his hand was clearly swollen and red. I invited him in after his scripted pitch. Didn't really have a good idea of what the guy was selling, I just felt so bad for him ..gave him my only pair of winter gloves and purchased $1.25 chocolate wafers for $40.00. The guy was a trainee, and processed my payment with out a receipt.. he said he didn't know how to fix that... coupon looks shady...but I guess they are spending the money on the kids...vs. this printed off coupon sheet...all the partners are places I've never heard of and most require you to purchase something in order to be eligible... been reading some reviews after I donated...not feeling the best that this is legit....hopefully my account won't get hacked...and that guy had a safe night...Step Up 4 Kidz Foundation Response

We can assure you we are a non profit liscensed charitable foundation.We have fundraisers out helping assist us in our endeavors to support local buisnesses, as well as providing families with technical support in the form of laptops. We work very hard supporting local initiatives and local youth with technology. We assure you your support is making a difference in the lives that need it the most right now.The online coupon service from our fundraising partners is fantastic and we appologize if there was a glitch. We are happy to get you in touch with them to get it all cleared up, or you can go right to the site ******** and there is a live support agent.We would like to ask for some help removing this **** accusation. We are unsure who makes *** ****** posts, but we are fully licensed, and work very hard towards our mission. It is pretty harmful having these accusations publicly. This organization truly cares about families and children, they respond and listen to everyones situation with compassion and understanding. They respond and communicate in a timely manner and provide supports that otherwise any of us wouldnt otherwise be able to access or use.
