I engaged **** Koss Accounting in March of 2022 to complete corporate accounting for ******************** (my company) with a year end of Dec 31 and a *** filing deadline of June 30, 2022.I met **** at his place of business, his home, *******************************., in ******* in March for 1 hour. He seemed professional and a genuine person. We Agreed to do business and he assured me he could handle my small request. But not until after the busy tax season, that being the end of April 2022. I agreed because we had until June 30 to file the return. I departed, leaving him with printed copies of the 2 previous years tax returns.I attempted to reach him mid May 2022 to make sure we were on track to complete in time. ****** business has 3 phone lines to contact 3 different individuals. I called each line many times over a two week period before anyone answered. I was told they were taking it easy after the busy season and that things were now back on track. A phone call as arranged with **** and I, near the end of May and he assured me the job would be handled before June 30, 2022.As June 30 approached, I again tried to call each of the 3 lines and again left many, many messages and received no response. I drove to ****************************** home and knocked on his door, a truck was parked in the driveway. After knocking politely for quite some time. I left, returned 4 times before the end of June, and continued to leave phone messages and still no response.June 30 arrived and passed! Now I found myself late for filing with the *** and in a penalty situation.After again visiting his home three times between July 2 and July 10, knocking on the door and leaving written notes about who I was and what I wanted. I decided I had to seek another method of completing the tax return. However, ***************** still had previous year end tax returns for my company that I wanted, and still want returned..I have initiated a complaint with *** ***** *** *********** and the BBB.
