      This rating is a zero. Worst dealership I have ever dealt with! They did not do the inspection, they knew the front brakes need to be replaced, but never did. I called and spoke to the owner about a broken fan belt and AC compressor that need to be replaced only after having the car for less than a month. His response was "Sucked it up buttercup" Not only is he unprofessional, but dishonest. BUYERS BEWARE!!!! Reporting this business to the BBB

      Dear ******************************:  Thank you for your input.  I would like to add some pertinent facts.  You drove over 52 miles to buy this vehicle, and for good reason. It had been very well maintained and priced fairly. After you drove it and decided to purchase it, we did rear brakes, rotors, rear sway bar links, a lube,oil,filter. You drove it and said you "heard a noise".  We addressed this issue and found the tires to be a little worn.  They would have easily passed inspection.  But we did what we usually do:  go overboard.  We bought you 4 brand new tires. We had the car cleaned (again) and filled your gas tank.  When you came to pick it up, we stayed well past closing time to accommodate you.  We didn't have time to provide the complimentary Inspection Sticker, so you agreed to take it to YOUR mechanic for inspection. The following week you called to tell me the car passed the State Inspection and that it was a good car, according to your mechanic.  The car you purchased, based on the mileage at the time of sale, had a warranty of Inspection Only.  A month later, you called me again, telling me your mechanic said there was an issue with the A/C Compressor.  You wanted me to fix it for free.  I was under no obligation to do this so I offered to have the car repaired for you at my cost.  It was at this point that you became belligerent, began to curse and make unfair, untrue and degrading comments to me.  The insults persisted.  I do not have to accept unacceptable behavior from you or anyone.  When you didn't get what you wanted, you acted out in a way which I find disgusting. We have worked tirelessly for 31 years to provide the best possible service we can.  We sell inexpensive vehicles to people who cannot afford to spend a lot.       We have bought several cars from Auto Country over the years and ow it was my son's time.  He picked the car he wanted and ***** made his first car purchase terrific.  Every car we bought has been great with wonderful customer service.  We highlly recommend Auto Country.  They make car shopping and purchasing a very pleasant experience!
