From the management who came and gave us an estimate to the crews who did the work I cant speak highly enough of this company! If you are considering hiring Super Service Today **** in **********, **, please read this review first. My recent experience with their boiler service was nothing short of a nightmare and put my familys safety at serious risk.In January 2024, I hired Super Service Today **** for boiler maintenance, and the following issues occurred:1. Improper Installation and Negligence:Taco Pump Installation: Incorrectly installed, risking malfunction.Water Filtration System: Left on bypass, rendering it ineffective.Leaking Gas Supply Nut: Found dangerously leaking, which I had to tighten myself to prevent a gas leak.2. Severe Safety Hazards:Ignition Fault: Missing gasket on electrodes, risking ignition failure.Venturi Valve and Blower Assembly Gasket: Found dirty and leaking, indicating poor combustion practices.Combustion Readings: Alarmingly off-target (O2 at 8.6%, **2 at 6.94%, and ** at 55ppm), suggesting hazardous inefficiencies and potential carbon monoxide poisoning.Despite numerous attempts to resolve these issues, including detailed emails and a face-to-face meeting with their representative, *****, Super Service Today **** failed to address the problems adequately. I demanded a full refund of $7,000the amount paid for their faulty servicebut my requests have been ignored.The lack of professionalism and attention to safety by Super Service Today **** is unacceptable. When we initially serviced your boiler, our technician followed the manufacturer's recommendations, including installing a sediment filter and additional parts to address the issues at hand. We advised on a potential full unit replacement but respected your decision to proceed with the recommended repairs.
After your report of a gas smell and subsequent inspection by another company, we took immediate steps to address your concerns. Our representative, *****, visited your home to assess the situation and offered a partial refund as a gesture of goodwill, which you declined.
Regarding the specific issues you mentioned:
The Taco pump and water filtration system were installed based on technical support guidance. There is only one correct way to install the pump, which was adhered to, and the sediment filter was installed correctly. It is possible the bypass valve was opened by someone else after our installation.
The missing gasket and combustion readings are concerning. We consulted with the manufacturer, who indicated that the missing gasket alone would not have caused high CO2 levels.
We understand you have since disputed the charges and received a refund. We aim to resolve any issue amicably and regret that we couldn't meet your expectations this time. Last week, my husband contacted Super Service Today, Inc. to address a clogged toilet in our home. A technician was dispatched, and after a brief visit of only 10 minutes, they managed to unclog the toilet. However, we were shocked to receive a bill totaling $270 for such a short service visit. the issue recurred less than a week later, and we had no choice but to reach out to Super Service Today, Inc. once again. Today, another technician arrived and requested an additional $275 to unclog the toilet. Despite their claim of a 100% satisfaction guarantee and a lifetime warranty on their services, we were appalled by the lack of accountability and professionalism displayed by the company.Furthermore, the technician suggested that we replace our toilets altogether, citing their age of 20 years. While we understand the importance of maintenance and potential upgrades, we find it unacceptable to be coerced into unnecessary expenses, especially given their previous assurances.Following my refusal to pay an additional $270 for unclogging the toilet a second time, the technician left to consult with management. Upon returning, they presented quotes for the installation of two new toilets ($3000) and offered to unclog the toilet free of charge as a one-time exemption.Despite their claim of providing a one-time exemption, we cannot comprehend the rationale behind the exorbitant fee for a service that failed to resolve the issue satisfactorily.Furthermore, the sudden suggestion to replace both toilets raises questions about the integrity of Super Service Today, Inc.'s practices. Terrible Company, I had an appointment with them and waited for 3 hours, at the last minutes told me the technician not able to come. The weird thing is my asked the Credit card first.Super Service Today, Inc. Response

We are very sorry you had a less than amazing experience with us. Unfortunately, in the service industry we have to deal with things changing and moving off the schedule as we are dependent on our technicians solving problems quickly. The technician scheduled for your visit needed to stay at that call until close to 9 pm that night. We did not charge your credit card as we were unable to make the appointment and very sorry we let you down.Review from Jill S

PRICES are insane they basically steal form you- They say its a $59 service fee and by the end it was almost $1000 for a no label tub spout and a tankless hot water heater flush- When they told me the price I did question them saying tell me honestly is this in line or higher then most- he said inline with our kind of service- after is was done I felt so upset checked around - no label bathtubs spouts are $20 or so and tank flush would have been around $175. This company needs to be held to the fire. I have called and left messages for the owner for says and days with out a call back.Review from Jennie R

This company is deceitful. They ask for your credit card before doing any services because its $400 just to assess the problem. I thought I was paying $400+ for them to replace the ****** and wax seal on my toilet. He said hed have to come back another day to do the ****** and charge an additional $700+ to replace the ****** on top of the $400. Im not sure if he intended to replace the wax seal at the very least, but when I complained he did. The price he gave for a wax seal and ****** replacement was the same price he gave me to install a new toilet! $1000+Review from Anapayan S

They should be named SUPER CHEATERS. If you are using them just ask for labor and material cost breakup. They explained the situation as if it was something major and all they did was faucet change.They charged ** exorbitantly and now are not ready to provide ** break up of labor and material cost. Its total SCAM. Total rip off. We believe they are not running their business ethically and not showing correct income on books to avoid taxes
