I reached out to this company on or after 7/20 for a quote on a move as I was in the process of buying my house and wanted an idea of costs. This company was made aware that I was not certain of my date as I was hoping my closing date would be sooner (week of 7/25). This moving company told me they were not able to do anything sooner than 8/3 but would keep me on a cancellation list. Nothing was confirmed for time, payment, etc because I was still seeking quotes. I found another company to ************** and confirmed with their office when they called me that I didnt need their services. Later that week I got a bill in the mail for $500 for no cancellation notice. There was nothing to cancel because all I got from them was a quote and I told them when they called me that I was not using them. I tried to resolve with business directly, but the owner kept hanging up on me and when i asked what time did we book for if I actually confirmed this booking, he said we didnt figure that out yet. I understand if I actually booked with them & gave a late cancellation, however I never confirmed booking and made that clear date was uncertain. But even if I had booked, the man that provided quote, nor did i sign any paperwork, website or the woman that I talked to on the phone advised me that there would be a fee if I booked and then cancelled. But again, all I got from this company was a quote. Please be mindful when dealing with this company.
