      On July 29, 2022, I met with ******************************* of Life Cycle Transitions to discuss clearing and cleaning of my sister's condo in Cambridge. She had been hospitalized and I had just arrived from **********. ******************** assessed the condo and quoted a price of $12,500.00 to sort, clear, and deep clean the unit. I gave him an oral agreement and he charged my credit card $6,790.00 immediately and had his crew begin. Each day I asked for a written contract and details of work done and each day I was told it would be coming and that we would "discuss options." When I left to return to ********** the work was not completed, but the remaining $5,710.00 was charged. Once I was gone I was told the unit was unlivable and that it was impossible to attempt cleaning. And, in fact, they did leave a complete mess. I have pictures showing the unit after the crew had left. However, I had another cleaner come in who cleaned and will supervise plumbing repairs and new flooring. I have corresponded with ******************** and he has offered only excuses and inflated difficulties and scare tactics. I believe he saw two old ladies in a difficult situation and used that to make promises he could not or would not keep. I am asking him for the return of $3,000.00 to compensate for the cleaning that was not done.

      One star out of 10 for deceptive pricing. Changes in price. ******* quoted me **** to clean one bedroom apartment. Dirty , but just cleaning. Nothing to throw away, we did it ourselves. When we refused the price he lowered it to ****. I gave him my cc right away. After work started I received proposal for ****. He promised the best team. One person came in AM. Another after 2 pm after my multiple complaints. He was very rude on the phone because I told workers about the amount Before he told me that he was not the boss and apparently he was. He threatened. To show before pic to the building manager. The apartment belongs to the blind ,bed bound elderly woman, who was coming from hospital and I was doing it for her. This company just a middle man company. They hire from other companies. The workers were good and did a good job. 1 day cleaning

      The client was quoted $3500.00 to perform a 1 day transition cleanup package consisting of packing sorting organizing and deep cleaning of her sisters apartment so she can return home from skilled rehab. However she stated she couldnt afford the quote as according to her it was to high for her afford, so to insure her sister can return home from the hospital before Christmas we applied our ***** holiday discount promo typically reserved only for Tufts health plan subscribers in order to reduce the price in addition to applying other small discounts giving her a tremendous discount that fit her budget. Thinking shell be thrilled and appreciative and at least say thank you however unfortunately as you can see that wasnt the case as according to her complaint ironically the cleaners did a terrific job we can verify that with text she sent praising our work only to go and write this negative review in effort to discredit our company for reasons I cant explain. We simply attempted to deliver an act of good will 2 weeks before Christmas in an effort to make the service more affordable and reunite a family for the holiday's.in addition to providing superb service of which we have text and this complaint to prove. This has got to be the most unusual complaint to date. We ultimately reduced our price and according to her complaint we actually did a great job cleaning the home which by the way took 3 hours longer then the contractural agreement and we didnt charge her the additional cost we simply absorbed that as well. Weve transitioned thousands of clients in the past 15 years in business and if ever we were deserving of at least a thank you this would certainly apply.

      I hope this message finds you well. We are writing to address a recent complaint filed by a customer regarding our ********************. We value transparency and wish to provide additional context to ensure a fair representation of the situation.


      The client initially received a quote of $3500.00 for our 1-day transition cleanup package, inclusive of packing, sorting, organizing, and deep cleaning for her sister's apartment. Expressing concerns about affordability, we decided to extend the ***** holiday discount promo, typically reserved for Tufts health plan subscribers, as a goodwill gesture. This, coupled with other minor discounts, resulted in a substantial reduction to accommodate her budgetary constraints.


      Despite our efforts to make the service more affordable and contribute positively to her family's holiday reunion, the customer's subsequent complaint has left us perplexed. Interestingly, she acknowledged the excellent job done by our cleaners in a text message, praising our services. It is disheartening to find that her online review does not align with her expressed satisfaction.
      Moreover, we would like to highlight that, in an act of goodwill, we went above and beyond the contractual agreement by investing an additional 3 hours in cleaning without passing on the extra cost to the client.


      With a track record of successfully transitioning thousands of clients over the past 15 years, we are genuinely puzzled by this situation. We believe that, given the circumstances, a note of appreciation would have been more appropriate.


      We are committed to customer satisfaction and are open to addressing any concerns or clarifications needed. Our aim is to continue providing exceptional service and fostering positive relationships with our valued clients.
