Was given this defribillator vest in hospital to wear home. The woman that fit me with the vest claimed it was covered by my insurance. Now Im receiving a bill for almost **** dollars on something that I thought was covered by my insurance. I was lied to and deceived because I would never have worn it if I thought I was going have that kind of bill. Im a single mother and cannot afford this bill. I have bcbs of ******* and Im sure they have paid their part. This is a ripoff . I see Im not the only person this has happened to.Review from Mark T

SCAM SCAM SCAM ----Had triple bypass surgery on 8/25/22. **** rep comes into my hospital room right after I got out of ICU. I was so drugged out on painkillers and signed papers. Insurance is refusing to cover it, as they didn't approve it. Now I got a bill from Zoll for $****.00! Although **** knew this wasn't covered by insurance, they continued to bill for second month. I sent vest back. **************** *************** said oh, don't worry about it. Literally, that is what she said. I then get a second bill for another ****. This company is a SCAM.Review from John S

Zoll Medical Corporation saves lives with its AED devices! There are numerous reports of local AEDs being used when someone has a sudden cardiac arrest. A majority of these people would have died if it were not for the efforts of the ************* This describes the people who make and sell the unit, to those who keep the internal components up to date. The combined efforts of the ************ are to thank for many lives saved yearly. This company makes products that are granting those with cardiac arrest something more valuable than money; time. Zoll products offer a future to many who may not have lived to see it without them. These products allow SCA patients a sense of peace in knowing that there are such devices available to them if needed.Review from Gary S

Absolute predatory scam. ****** had a heart attack and within a couple of days a "salesperson" comes in and gives him the pitch that this has been ordered. If you don't want it you can send it back but it's there job to size you up and show you how it works. What an antiquated pile of wires you really expect a ************** to be able to mess with all this? Just try it on they say. That's where you're ****. Dad and I decided after she left that dad didn't want it (being ***) that's kind of a **** thing to wear. SO I returned it a day later. Got someone on staff to verify it was canceled and that we would not be billed. Now 2 months later he's getting a statement from the insurance company for $4000 for one month. I called ****. They politely told me that they don't prorate the device and that as soon as you try it on you are billed for one month in advance. They assured me that the device had been returned and no further bills will show up. This is as close to insurance fraud as I think you can get.
