Reliable fence installed a split rail fence in front of our house. They made a mistake on one side where they installed the gate to high up and subsequently sloped the rest of that side to try and fix the issue. I provided picture evidence of the height being incorrect and the company rep agreed that this was a mistake and needed to be fixed. Mistakes happen so it was no big deal and the company rep we were working with promised us this would be fixed in a few weeks when they where less busy. Well a few weeks past and when I reached out I was told we would have to pay to get it fixed because they are insisting its ********* standard" and installed correctly. After many back and forth conversations with the company rep. he referred me to the owner of reliable fence, ***** who I called immediately. He could not have cared less about the problem and instead of trying to resolve the issue started blaming me and my wife insisting we should have been babysitting his professional installers and should have said something that day and it would have been fixed. I was at work and my wife was working inside the house plus there was a serious communication barrier where the installers did not speak English. Neither of us thought we had to babysit the professionals and even if we did, there is no guarantee I would have noticed it since we are not professionals hence why we hired a company to do it. He then insisted I should have taken the day off if I thought there would be an issue. Per the contract between us and the company they where hired to install a split rail fence with a height of "2R" as it is listed on the contract. Per the same industry standards **** kept trying to reference a 2R fence height is 36 inches. The gate side of our fence is 42 inches maybe more depending how you measure it. Since industry standard is what **** insists on going by they are in breach of contract by not fixing this to industry standard.
