    We live in MA and bought a 2020 Nimbus T11 in June 2020 from YS. Year 1, the portside window begins to leak in sea water. Nimbus dealer requests the boat be hauled back for repair. Owner pays for haul out, winter storage at dealer. Year 2, same window leaks again. We reject the dealer's proposal for a second haul across state lines and winter storage. We request a new window. New window request is rejected. Dealer pays for local boat yard to do window repairs. Year 3, window leaks again. Sea water continues to pour in. We request a new window replacement directly from Nimbus. Dealer/Nimbus pays for local window installer to install a new window. New window falls completely off the boat in choppy seas and the boat nearly sinks with our family on it. Knee high water fills the cabin. Traumatic experience. We lose personal belongs in the sea water and our 3 day vacation is spent doing repairs. Insurance (policy sold via dealer) report concludes "MANUFACTURER DEFECT" as cause. As such, insurance is not responsible and will not pay for boat repairs, boat tow, boat or personal damages caused in the accident. Damages total $35,000 USD. Dealer/****** have reject the insurance report findings and point to a poor installation of the new window, that THEY AUTHORIZED AND PAID FOR. Their proposed solution, trade-in our boat and buy a new boat from them. The window was one of MANY, MANY problems with our boat. For example, Nimbus T11 are advertised on their website as being sold with Mercury 300 engines. Our boat came with Evinrude 300 engines, which were discontinued and the company went out of business 4 months prior to delivery. This was NOT disclosed to us at the time of the sale. We have not been able to service our boat engines locally since purchase. In light of all these issues, we are requesting a new boat or a refund. I thought i would share our experience for you all to be aware. My post was removed twice from the ******** owner's group, then they blocked my account.
