              This spring I went to Vermont tire to have my Winter tires changed over to my all season tires. Immediately after leaving my tire censor light came on and one of the tires was leaking. I went back to have the tires taken off and had my all season tires put back on. The problem continued. I brought the vehicle back to have the issue fixed, except they fixed the wrong tire, a tire which had no problem. A pon further inspection of the tire they found out the valve was stripped by H3**93531313630373130H tire. I never had a issue with any tires prior to the initial visit to vt tire. They refuse the tire that is now no good or the valve stem or the censor which broke because of H3**93531313630373130H tire not being careful when breaking down the tire. After sitting there for 2 hours they told me the tire in question is not safe to drive now because of damage on inside of the tire from driving to get air for a week. The person who did the original tire changeover who stripped the valve stem and broke the tire censor while breaking down the tire is Tech # **/KK. Those are the initials of the tech who performed the original work which is on the original work order from my 1st visit in July of 2021

              I have been a customer of ********************** Tire for years. Their prices are good, their service is not, but I try to support local business. I purchased a set of ****** Starfire tires for my sons car. After less than four years and ***** miles, the tires needed to be replaced due to excessive dry rot. I asked them to honor the warranty, which specifically covered dry rot. I was told I could buy new tires for $467, but they would not honor the warranty and help me with the defective tires they sold me. Employee **** yelled at me, telling me the dry rot was due to negligence on my part, and caused because the tires were not driven a lot. They successfully scammed me, but they also lost a customer for life. I purchased replacement tires at another store, and will never take my business to Vermont Tire, ever again.
