Used car salespeople have a well-known and distinctly unfavorable reputation. I have made every effort to avoid them in any dealings, especially on their home turf of used vehicles. I was recently involved in a hit and run; with relatively minor damage I wasnt expecting to encounter one but the universe had another plan in mind. My insurance managed to complicate the process at every step possible and a few I didnt even realize were even steps that could be complicated. In short, nothing went as expected. Faced with a totaled vehicle In the current vehicle economy and not being in a position to take on a car payment, my options were limited. My previous vehicle was unique, a cult classic vehicle that is no longer manufactured; I knew I wanted to continue the line as long as possible. I could have easily found another car, even one within my budget, but I felt more comfortable and knew that I would be happier with a vehicle with which I knew their undocumented features, what to expect, etc. After an exhaustive search I found a handful of options, I decided on one for sale by Wrights Auto Sales in ******* with my next option being in *******. Driving nearly a ***** miles in the opposite direction of my next option to purchase a vehicle sight unseen was admittedly a concerning proposition. In the end, I made the journey, added 2 states to my visited list and am thrilled I did. ******* validated my decision and risk and came through with flying colors. The vehicle was everything it was advertised to be, at a very fair price. ******* took a terrible situation for me and turned it into a loyalty building experience. He was upfront, honest, fair, understanding, and flexible to the schedule changes and obstacles that arose.
