      I booked a non-smoking room for this property through Priceline, it was booked as a non cancellable reservation, which I understand. I arrived and checked in and walked in the room and 3 minutes later without putting my bags down was back at the front desk telling them that the room they gave me was not a non smoking room, it was a heavy smoking room, not just faint smell of smoke. I asked for another room that was non smoking, the clerk told me that I did not request a room change within 15 minutes so she would not give me a new non-smoking room, so I left and cancelled the reservation with Priceline due to them not giving me the type of room I contracted for, if they would have given the room that was promised, non smoking, I would have stayed they did not. I have received a letter from Priceline dated June 1, 2023 denying my request for refund stating that the merchant did not violate the terms of the agreement. This is not true, it is very simple, I booked a non-smoking room, I was given a room, I walked in and it reeked of smoke, I turned around and went to the desk for another room and they told me that they would not give me another room, so I left. The agreement was for a non-smoking room and this was clearly a room that had been smoked in excessively, I gave them an opportunity to give me a non smoking room and they refused. The merchant violated the agreement by not giving me a room that I had requested. this is fraud and this hotel is bad news and Priceline is a party to this scam.

      Mr. ******, Where do I start? Well, we planned a family trip during the Southern and LSU game...big mistake #1. Rooms in the area where either nonexistent or overpriced or substandard. After much contemplation we decided on one night at this location. Upon checkin my husband asked the front desk person about the restrooms, we had been driving for hours and he needed to go badly. She proceeded to tell him that they didn't have PUBLIC bathrooms but there were six trees out front! The experience went downhill from there and culminated in her calling the police and lying, while all the while blowing kisses at us. I was horrified that a black woman would knowingly and intentionally do everything in her power to escalate our encounter with the police; twelve angry people when there were only six, we were trying to fight her, he were irate, yelling and cursing. None of this was true and I informed her that she was being recorded. It's embarrassing that this young woman has so little character, decency or commonsense and she has been placed in a position of authority. What could have been a deadly situation was immediately proven to be a lie by the alert young officer. Needless to say we would not recommend anyone go anywhere near this establishment EVER. You need to get rid of ****** or you will find yourself in endless litigation.

      Stay away. Drug problem and people hanging around the parking lot. Sign missing outside. Broken washers in the front lobby with the top open. Elevator slow. No ice, snacks, or drinks are all out in the machines. The hotel has a smell to it. In-room no coffee for the machine. No sugar, cream, stirrer, cups why a machine. Tv has very little service. The soap doesn't go far for hand washing and bath. Towels are not worth anything. No headboard just paint peeling on the wall. Very small trashcan. People were throwing their trash out their door. When you leave for the day and come back you need to recheck in. The cart is $25 to rent. There is no manager at this site. I tried to cancel after seeing the room but they said no. Grass growing up around the pool area.

      Roaches!!!! Extremely dirty. Do not stay here. My husband and I came for a night away from the kids, and as we were going to the elevator to go to our room, another patron warned us that they had a BAD roach problem. So we get to the room and there are two roaches in the sink. My husband went to complain to the front desk and the lady laughed and stated that we can't get a refund since we checked in already. Mind you we had not even been there for 10 min. So I went to buy some roach spray. To spray down and roaches came out from EVERYWHERE, ESPECIALLY THE MICROWAVE. At this point we checked out. The front desk lady said that there is no manager and we can only email, to which no one has responded. We have filed a complaint with the health board with video and pictures.

      I booked a reservation with Siegen Inn to leave New Orleans because of Hurricane IDA. I asked if there were back up generators because I wouldn't book if there were not. When we arrived to check in a 3pm August 28, before I was charged I asked again at the front desk if there were back up generators in case of a power outage. I was reassured by the staff that there were. Once the power went out August 29, the generators did not come on. I went to the desk and asked the same worker if they were going to use the back up generators. She said they didn't have any. Other guests expressed they were lied to as well. Simply they could have told the truth and we would have moved on to another hotel, but they chose to accept or payments anyway, though they were told we wouldn't stay if they didn't.

      My husband went to check in on June 12, 2021 for the 2 rooms we had booked. There was a sign on the door that stated they did not have cable/wifi and due to that, cancellations would be accepted. Great! We would rather stay with family, anyway. My husband took a picture and got the clerk's name. They still charged me. I have now paid for the rooms and disputed charges through paypal and hotels.com and both say that the hotel is refusing to refund. I have messaged them directly and called several times but no one will answer. EVER! Horrible customer service relations. I will be taking this as high as it can go.
