We had our patio redone and the whole process was very frustrating and unprofessional. The owner provides little oversight on the job being done as he frequently does not follow-up on his subs' work. We had to let the owner know about things that were being done incorrectly as he did not check on it himself very often. His subs are unreliable as they would frequently either show up hours late or not at all. Communication was very poor throughout the entire project - we were frequently reaching out to find out updates and push progress forward. Debris and trash were left behind for weeks even after asking for it to be removed multiple times. While awaiting our new roof, a temporary roof was placed that was not done correctly, so when it rained, we had a water leak inside of our house. At the end of the project, we were told we owed additional money that we were never told about previously. The owner also threatened to put a lean on our house if we did not pay the additional money. The patio came out as expected, but the whole process was very stressful and unpleasant.

As the owner of the company, I take great pride in our professional work and expertise . For the last 23 years of Mechleb Builders, LLC, have been doing just that and will continue servicing our community pleasing every customer and overlooking every details. Unfortunately once in lifetime we ran into a customer that we could not please 100% simply because she refused to pay for additional work that they kept adding to project. We were hired to replace back patio cover , which we did in a very timely manner within 2 weeks we had removed old structure , and built new larger porch approximately 22’x 35’, with tongue and grove beaded boards and extensive lighting and fans. , we had the roof temporarily covered while awaiting special order custom standing seem metal roofing when we had a heavy and windy rain pulled the cover off on one side.. customer called during the rain to inform me about the leak, which I rushed to the roof covering the entire structure while pouring rain to eliminate and damage. I personally crawled into the attic to investigate for damage and did not find ANY wet spot or wet insulation in attic and had asked Mr *** to come in attic with me to verify and he did . Everything was dry and no leaks were over living area. Customer had asked me not to put a dumpster in their front yard , we had to put our job debris in back yard to load it into our trailer which we did once the construction was completed and before the roof arrived 2 weeks later . My customer’s accusations that the project was unsupervised, and my workers were not reliable are totally false because we had built the entire patio and roof over the weekend while they were out of town and complemented the irk over their camera of how fast we did it. My customer is unhappy with me simply because I had told her that I would place a lien on the property if she doesn’t pay me in full for the work they asked me to do. The complete job is beautiful, and they have received several compliments on it according to Mr **** I hope they will continue to enjoy it for as long as they live in that it as they have been already.
