I was quoted $1100 to fix my suv. When I came to pick it up I was charged 0ver $3000. I got a text quote and said go ahead based on the texted quote. When I went back to the linked texted the quote changed. Huge scam operation they are running. They have to be checked into. Seems to me they don’t care about there customers only how much money they can screw out of them.Review from Dave S

Terrible used truck buying experience. Showed up to pick up truck and extended warranty was added to invoice bedore i got there, ***** ******** ( terrible) . Leas than 2 months later the truck needs brake work and im told by the dealer warranty will not cover it even though its listed on the pamphlet i got. Ive since through out my extended warranty after finding out hiw they are to deal with ao im out 3500 to 4000.00. Told the dealer i wanted a refund on tge extended warranty that i didnt want in the dirst place and no can do. ***** the finance manager ia puahing extended warranties on people and kniws nothing about the company hes endorsing, guess it doesnt matter they are making money off it at others expense. Just a horribke experience and now im out thousands becausebthe warranty company are not fit to deal with, lesson learned....what a shady operation.Review from Lucien F

Jan 16th, 2024 - Sold me a “good used car” that was worth putting an MVI on. So far I’m up to $4000 in invoices on an $7000 car (after taxes). The tires were so worn I’m surprised they passed the MVI. No horn either. Alignment is terrible. Needs an entire Camshaft replacement which involves stripping the engine. Also … whatever previous owners did to this deemed it unreadable on VW computers - so I can’t get any of the work done that’s under warranty. Should have been sold as is, where is, because the starter is gone now too and it hasn’t moved in days. It’s under a month old to me. ** * ****** ******** ******. *** **** ** * *****.Steele Chevrolet Response

The vehicle was a 2014 model year with approximately 220,000 kms. We advertised as a value priced MVI only vehicle which we provided full disclosure on what the vehicle was and its level of mechanical inspection. We provided a full CarFax report which was signed and acknowledged. We also provide a very detail disclosure which the client initials and signs. As this type of value priced vehicle we offer to the public instead of running through the auction. We fully disclose and recommend getting the vehicle inspected by an independent party due to the age of mileage of the vehicle....
Here is a copy of the disclosure presented to the client which was signed off and initialed. It was initialed the client opted NOT to take our advice and get an independent inspection done.
Steele Chev Value Priced Pre-Owned Vehicles
This is to certify that I/we understand the purchase of a Steele Chev Value Priced Pre-Owned Vehicle comes with the following,
2 Year Nova Scotia Motor Vehicle Inspection
New Oil Change
Carproof Report
No warranty implied or otherwise (unless purchased)
NO EXCHANGES – NO REFUNDS
I/we understand the inherent risk of purchasing a vehicle that has only been checked for the MINIMUM required by the Nova Scotia MVI Inspection.
Even though this vehicle comes MVI Only inspected, I/we understand that this vehicle IS ELIGIBLE for the purchase of an extended warranty.
Steele Chevrolet suggests if you have any concerns regarding this vehicle you take it for an independent opinion at a local LICENSED garage/facility of your choosing before purchasing.
Did I take this advice and get a second opinion (init) YES________ or NO________
Name ________________________
Signature ________________________
Date ________________________We also provided an option to purchase and extended powertrain warranty (insurance) which the client declined and signed.
We work to provide used vehicle offerings ranging from "As-is" to basic MVI only all the way up to full certified and warrantied. All vehicles are fully disclosed as we work to be as transparent as possible and provide options for all budgets.

Took my car yesterday (11/23/2023) for replacing tires to winter tires, an oil change, undercoating, fixing the driver's door button that's supposed to open the trunk but wouldn't, fixing the Bluetooth and Wifi that stopped working and the clock that wouldn't adjust on my infotainment system. The only things they did were changing the tires and the oil. None of the problems I reported was fixed and they didn't do the undercoating. I was the first to bring my car yesterday (7:00am) and the last to take it (6:00pm) and while they spent the whole day verifying the problems I reported, not only did they not fix them, they broke my infotainment system, now it won't even turn on. Now I can't listen to music and can't use my back up cam, which uses the infotainment system's screen. They told me they would call me in 7 to 10 business days to complete the work and they expect me to pay for a new infotainment system even though they broke mine instead of fixing it. I already paid for the diagnosis of the faulty driver's door trunk opening button and the Bluetooth, WiFi, and clock issues that were not repaired. I can't understand how 11 hours did not suffice to get everything done, also considering that I set the appointment almost 3 weeks in advance. In previous times I got good service there, but yesterday I got the worst ever service experience in my life, the longest time my car ever spent in the service shop, and getting equipment broken instead of repaired, and on top of that, expecting me to pay for a new infotainment system after they broke mine rather than taking responsibility for their faults.Steele Chevrolet Response

It is unfortunate that **** is having difficulties with his radio post servicing, difficulties that he requested we diagnose with his 2017 Chevrolet Cruze. During our diagnostic procedures we performed a program update, as these updates commonly fix radio issues. During the update the radio due to its condition froze, and we were unable to complete the software update. We quoted the client a radio, and the client declined the repairs.
The reason the client spent so much time on site is because of the lengthy list of services the client requested us to perform, his list of requests follows;
Perform an oil change
Install and balance four tires
Undercoating
Determine why his trunk button doesn't function
Determine why his radio doesn't function properly
We additionally performed a complimentary vehicle inspection and replaced his vehicles engine air filter as approved by the client.
If the time frame to perform these items didn't suit Alan's expectations we would have happily shuttled him home, and brought him back when his vehicle was completed as we offer shuttle services to all of our clients.

took my vehicle (2019 Traverse) in to have the headlight bulb replaced as regular maintenance - no accidents, no unknown issues, no damage to the headlight or malfunctioning parts no check engine light, simply a lightbulb on the driver side went out and needed to be replaced....it cost over $900!!...they are charging $120 for a diagnostic to tell them the bulb needed to be replaced even though that was quite obvious and no one needs a diagnostic tool to determine a lightbulb is out and needs replacemtent, I could almost understand the need for diagnostics if changing the bulb didn't work but even then I would expect them to notify me and let me know the issue is more than just the bulb...they are claiming the bulb is $300 which I could otherwise buy myself for well under $50 but I guess that is a premium for going to a dealership is you pay a ridiculous markup on parts so I could let that slide but they are also claiming that it took 2 hours of labour to change a bulb...I normally change my headlight bulbs myself and took it in this one time to be faced with almost a $1000 bill for a flipping lightbulb which they seem to think is perfectly normal for replacing a bulb...insanity...avoid this place if you can!
