      The only difference in the water from Piedmont and that from Gwinnett or ****** counties is the price - easily 2 or 4 times higher When I called about my $300+ bill and ask them to check the meter for leaks they agreed But if the meter was correct they would charge me another 50$ just for checking. Im not much for government intervention but this is one public utility that needs to be taken over by the county! It cant get any worse!

      Thank you for sharing your experience. We understand your concerns about our pricing and billing process. At Piedmont Water, we aim to provide quality water services at a reasonable price for in-home use.

      It's important to note that our rate structure is strongly recommended by the **** with a base rate per unit of water used, under a certain threshold of water use. For any use above the set threshold, a higher rate per unit of water used is charged to encourage conservation.

      Additionally,Piedmont Water, unlike public utilities, faces unique economic demands like paying property taxes, federal/state income taxes and not receiving funding or grants from county or state agencies, etc.

      We hope you will attend our community meetings this Summer 2024, which are a great opportunity to ask questions and learn about future projects and plans. More details will be sent out soon to customers.

      Aweful company. Aweful customer service, awful ********************** quality. Even the rich areas complain a lot about the quality of the water, imagine what us "peasants" are getting. Feel like juturna and piedmont are scratching each others back considering how Piedmont is quick to recommend them for in home water filtration instead of actually fixing the well systems. Beware if they have to pump your grinder pump they are known to just throw sewerage in your backyard and try to hide it.

      I have been chained to Piedmont water for that past *********************************************************** $1700 and I paid it off. I pay my bill every month on line before its due and I am sick and tired of their fees for convenience if you pay with a debit card (there should be no charge for payment coming right out of your bank account). I will give no more fees to this company and will mail a check instead. I hope everyone else does the same and there should be a class action suit against them for ripping off people.

      I was told by Piedmont that I had a water leak after receiving a massive bill. After a plumber inspected our property and found no leak, so we contacted Piedmont again. They said they came an inspected our unit and found no leak on their side. We inspected our water meter and found that pieces between the meter and the Automatic Meter Reading had become disconnected. When we reconnected the pieces (which they did not do during their supposed inspection) the problem was magically fixed. In conversations with the company, they said that they cannot prove that we did not have a leak and must pay a bill that is more than a years worth of our normal water usage. They would not listen to reason that the machine was not hooked up and at fault for the reading and that there was no way a leak that massive could magically fix itself. They function on a monopoly in our area, providing ** with no other company or recourse. Over a barrel, we are paying the bill. If I had anyone else to do business with, I would. Unfortunately I am stuck with this dangerously inefficient bureaucratic nightmare of a company. If you have the chance, avoid them at all costs.

      This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. A leak caused an enormous water **** and they continued to charge me late fees of over a $150 a month I've spent countless hours and phone calls trying to come up with a resolution. To say they have customer service is a joke. I've contacted the ****************** of consumer affairs enough consumer affairs and I recommend anybody else doing the same.. I have a formal complaints and and intend to continue with this complaint wherever I can.. As a business owner myself I cannot understand how they can operate like this period it makes me sad to see to see how evil a company can be.
